I think Hibs are a better team, but Hears have been more difficult to beat on their home patch. Lennon has been bemoaning the fact they lack a cutting edge, so hope that continues in this game.

For all that, I'd be quite happy with a point.

Saturday's fightback reminded me of the 2-2 at Easter Road early on in the season. Away from home, capital club, bigger budget, better league form and issues with us having equal possession over route 1. We'd be happy with a draw and ecstatic with a win (like Aberdeen 3-0).

Only thing I hope for is .... if we get a significant goal, wither it be contentious, referee buffoonery, legal or illegal, I'd rather there's not a repeat of the handwringing and crap in the Hearts thread.

These things even out over time and we've had a fair few shockers against us. For every Craig Reid free kick against Aberdeen on the last day of the season there's a Dundee in January away with McGhee's resting bitch face cranked up to the max.

It's called Karma. And in it's absence I have ordered a voodoo doll resembling Sinclair from eBay which I'm going to prick more than Dougie Imrie's maw.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but things haven't evened themselves out for us over the past few seasons. That was never a free kick at Pittodrie and in any event we should have had a penalty in thel lead up to the goal. Nuff said though. :spiteful:

Always think a point away from home is decent. This is no different. In fact in all of Hibs home league matches this season there has never been more than 1 goal in the game so that suggests we are capable of getting something out of it. I'd expect it to be fairly tight.

Getting pig sick of all these midweek matches though, with another one coming up next week that'll be me missing another two matches on top of the ones I've already missed. Sometimes feel that Scottish football makes it as hard as possible for fans to actually go to games....

Strange team.

Ciftci, Hartley and Cadden all on the bench.

Im, bizarrely, hoping Hartley might still be carrying a knock as not starting him, for me, is a really bad call. However, if hes carrying a knock and resting him as the rest of the defence is playing well it makes perfect sense not risking him.

I dont think Ciftci is fully fit but will probably feature at some point.

Not sure whats up with Cadden.

reeks a bit of over thinking things.

For me it just suggests a team carrying a number of players that for varying reasons aren't 100% fit and are being managed back to the point where they are.

Robinson I'll grant you is far from the most expansive gaffer who overloads his teams with attackers but I just see this as a compromise between managing the squad whilst putting out a team that has the potential of returning with a point (with attacking options awaiting as and when required).

Hartley has some sort of foot injury that apparently needs to be managed for the rest of the season.

It might well be, but he does have a completely mental decision in him from time to time, like starting Grimshaw ahead of Campbell in the League Cup Final right out of the blue.
