Grimshaw for me. Covered every blade of grass tackling and closing people down. Along with Keef in midfield allowed Pearson the freedom to do what he does best--making forward runs and trying to play others into the game. +Much better performance today but we have to do it consistently.

Makes a difference when there's 3 or 4 genuine contenders.

I thought today was Grimshaw's best game in a Motherwell jersey, by a country mile. Moult once again, ran himself into the ground. Pearson and McDonald played well too, I thought.

Grimshaw for me.

A lot of good performances today, the return of Hammell and Lasley both made a big difference, Law continues to improve and now looks a good right back. Grimshaw and Pearson both had their best games of the season. McDonald, Moult and linked well and I'm sure the Hearts defence have had easier days. But Johnson was the stand out and he roasted Patterson all game and in my opinion was Man of the Match.

Grimshaw for me. Ran all game, tackled and had a lot of good forward play and passing. Compare that to his last home game where he looked nervous and continually passed it sideways. The midfield in general were very competitive and gave us a good platform.

Johnson, Skippy, Moult a close second. For me the only one who was less than good was a shaky Kennedy. Everyone else played well.
