He's back after the international break which is after the dundee game next weekend. Yes a reason given by McGhee that they thought rest over the summer would cure his groin injury even after initial scans hadnt actually shown any damage, was only after he saw a groin specialist that identified the problem.

Cheers guys. I can’t wait until he is back in the side as he provides something a little different up front. I believe he could have made a difference in a few of the games we lost recently. Of course you can’t pin all our hopes on one guy, however, we look weaker when he’s not in the team.

Scheduled to return for the Ross County game on 10th Sept. You can often take these projected dates with a pinch of salt though.

 

I think his injury was misdiagnosed when examined at the end of last season with rest the suggested remedy.

 

Not saying it was the case here, but the rest versus surgery approach seems to quite a popular option in US sports these days. Probably because even the most successful surgery can still result in slightly reduced performance.

 

Can't wait to see him back in the team, though. Our lack of goals has made our lives difficult.
