  2. You should ask the Killie fans this question. I am thoroughly entertained. Credit to all involved.
  3. Almost a year since this question was raised and various points made so, I thought that it was time to re-energise this discussion. For me, the way that we are playing now, is exactly what I was getting at when the question was raised. I reckon everyone will be extremely satisfied with the entertainment on show each week. The rising attendances seem to be an indication of satisfaction that wasn't there in previous years. I can say that I am enjoying visiting Fir Park again. Win, lose or draw the entertainment is high. Huge credit to JBA, the players and the board for seeing the way forward, COYW!
  4. I think I’m hoping for a draw so both of them drop 2 Points
  5. Indeed.......it's magic though isn't it? 😁😁
  6. It's a wierd feeling, keeping an eye on games at the top of the league to see how your opponents are doing 🙂
  7. Just looking through social media and the abuse Kettlewell is getting is filling me with festive joy. showed his spots last night with his hysterics before getting sent off. Hell mend him, I just feel sorry for that 4th officials family
  8. For me AP’s header is fine the ball was just too high for him to get it.
  9. First half yesterday we played lots of cut backs from the bye line into the box & he couldnt get on any of them.....
  10. Today
  11. Another classic in bbc website for fans views, one guy commented that one of our best players was Scott Pittman!
  12. I’m not saying he doesn’t contribute. He does. The issue is that he keeps missing chances you’d expect a number 9 to put away. The header yesterday wasn’t the sitter; that was the chance he fluffed just before it. The comments on the header are more about the fact he couldn’t even get it on target. He just doesn’t do the bread and butter of a striker, which is burying those chances.
  13. We could always play Longelo through the middle. Watch the highlights of his goal, when RCC goes through both Henry and Longelo are about 20 yards deeper, Longelo sprints and Hendry jogs, either could have got that goal but only the full back was prepared to make the effort.
  14. The header being a sitter is a load of nonsense and the first goal was made by his willingness to go for the ball, get in front of the defender and flick it out to the runner. Might not score as much as we - and him - would like but he does contribute.
  15. Another brilliant 3 points yesterday 3-0 and we definitely should have had a few more
  16. Need to see the highlights back. I dont recall it, so cant think that it could be that bad. The shot in the first half is a bad miss though. I know you are taught to go back across goal but its mid height and no power in it. He should have smashed it. Left or right side, matters not. The keeper got plenty time to look at it.
  17. I think the BBC agree with you. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cz68g6qyqd3o
  18. The header, I'm assuming, is the one he launched himself full stretch at a free kick swung into the box. Incredibly harsh to 'expect that to be on target' and shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as the Hendry one
  19. I heard Martindale say he would be surprised if we did not finish top 4 this season. I think we are the second best team in the league right now. We possibly should have beaten Hearts twice so that the table would me more reflective of the teams potential. I would imagine Celtic and Rangers will finish the season first and second because of the resources they have. Third must be a realistic possibility. My biggest concern now is keeping the manager. He looks to be the real deal and other bigger clubs will be taking note. In every aspect from squad building to team rotation to style of play JBA has been exceptional.
  20. I would think thats likely. He has had to be patient for his minutes so far. But I really like him as a player. Hopefully he will seize the opportunity with both hands so TJ has to fight for his position when he gets back.
  21. I think it says a lot that when we played without AP or Hendry against Hibs we didnt lose anything. We just put someone else in there to do the job and continued regardless. Albeit it was a very specific tactic to try and isolate Hanley and make sure we stopped them building anything. Again yesterday, Livvy tried something different to put us off our game, but we found a way to adjust and figured it out. The manager just continues to impress. I think we need to enjoy it while it lasts as he is clearly destined for bigger things.
  22. AP is a bit of an odd one and to be fair to him has a goal ratio of 1:3 which isn't terrible. He's got decent pace, works hard and knows where the goals are. Although he's missed a few chances he's not regularly lurking enough in the penalty box. This is where the issue I think is, he's a penalty box striker who if we whip in loads of crosses etc into the box I'd wager he'll stick a few away BUT that's not how we're playing the game. I do think a confident AP with a certain type of play would work well for him but that's not how we're playing. Not can I see it working for Hendry. Sule maybe if he return but for now I could see us being more effective without either AP or Hendry.
