  1. Past hour
  2. Thoroughly enjoyed that today. Dominated the first half without really creating a lot. Havent seen the disallowed goal again yet, so cant comment if it was fair enough or not. However, Ward was barely troubled. Second half McInnes changed it up and got their press working more effectively and stopped us playing. Still rarely troubled us, but we were getting worryingly deep before Jens made his changes and we wrestled back control. Finished the game strongly and created 3 really good chances. Just really should score and their keeper makes 2 excellent saves from Slattery and Fadinger. Could have won it. Really good performance. We need to maintain these levels going into the next run of games and more points should come.
  3. Someone shouted something to his family , we have previous for it.
  4. I remember a nil nil against Aberdeen at Fir Park, very early in Roger Hynd's short tenure, so that would have been 1977/78 season. Bobby Clark pulled of a great save to deny the late Peter Miller. This would have been well after Martin Buchan had left the Dons so possibly not the match you recall, but it was exceptional game considering it ended goalless.
  5. Away tie against some weird and wonderful opposition we havent played before. Or any home tie against anyone else.
  6. Dont give a toss, we'r winning the league....... 😁
  7. At home to Number 7, Camelon Juniors would be a good start
  8. A really impressive 0–0 performance where we were unlucky not to take all three points. I honestly can’t remember being that nervous and entertained by a scoreless draw.
  9. Today
  10. For a 0-0 draw I enjoyed that game, can't believe Stephen Thomson and Steven Naismith thought it was a dull game. Hearts were on the front foot for 25 mins in the second half and other than Henry's overhead kick clearance we were never in bother. Welsh was absolutely immense and McGinn not far behind. I felt Slatterys was falling into his old bad habit of playing for fouls. He's better when he's concentrates his efforts into the creative part of his game. However I do temper that with how physical Hearts were. Just was outstanding all over the park with the exception of his final ball. Similarly Said has some great skills but his final ball is also poor. That said those are small criticisms I thought we were a good watch again and would have merited the 3 points. Also a terrific turn out by the Motherwell fans and by the reaction at the end I think most enjoyed it. Fir Park has a really good vibe with these bigger crowds lately.
  11. Somebody mentioned he was reporting someone in the main stand to security but don’t know why.
  12. Just in front of us. No I don't think so. Didn't see one at any rate. I wonder what upset McInnes at full time. Didn't see or hear anything untoward.
  13. So did Said get a card? Didnt look like much at all.
  14. A fair summing up but Devlin should never have seen the final whistle. He was very fortunate not to receive a 2nd yellow card. Referee bottled it.
  15. South Stand capacity cut to 4,600. So about 6,339 Well fans. That's impressive.
  16. Keeper has had zero saves against Hearts and Hibs, although our players have cleared two off the line
  17. Is it not about time we played St Mirren in Paisley again? No trip to Perth this time as the tractormen have been asked to leave the competition following their defeat to Cove Rangers.
  18. It won't take you very long
  19. Agreed. A few folk have experienced log in problems. Also the first place in the app many members would have looked would be subscription details and they're not available yet. In short it's a bit like the Queensferry Crossing. Announced it was finished before it actually was, for PR reasons. Still, it's a positive step forward.
  20. 0-0 A clean sheet and keeper really didn't have a save. So it has to be a defender. Toss up between Welsh and McGinn. Went for McGinn.
  21. After 2 password resets, I was finally able to log in. I use a password manager with some pretty long and complex values, so I'm guessing that maybe my initial efforts silently failed because they were too long (or too complex). When I shortened it on my 3rd attempt I was successful. Haven't played around with it yet, but will dig into it over the next few days.
  22. We often struggle in December, but looking forward to it this year.
  23. Not sure I would say poor but I think for Slats amd Just, their touch let them down a bit. Hoping they’re back to top of their game for midweek.
  24. I'd be happy (but surprised) if we can keep Welsh until the end of the season. It's a double edged sword taking good players on loan. We benefit in the short term, but if they do well, they often get re-called by their parent club in the first window.
  25. To not beat top of table and be disappointed shows how much we have progressed. Just missed great chances but will let him off. Slatts and Watt poor imo. Welsh awesome
