No. I won't. You've made some really horrible personal swipes at me over the last few months. And you've done it because you think I'm easy to pick on - that's on you. That's not on me. I tip toe around everything you post because if I know I post the wrong thing you'll go in on me - you've made me miserable on here - for no reason at all And it's not just you. I get the sarcasm and the laughter from other people as well. I just can't be arsed anymore. If you have an issue with me all you have to do is message me privately. It would be preferable to be constantly swiped at in public There are people on here that I constantly disagree with - but they are civil to me - and you aren't. That's the difference and I've had enough of it Im done. I didn't come on here to be a laughing stock - go pick on someone else - because it won't be me anymore.

My wee brother is ten years younger than me. He's got an account on here - he's not posted in years. But no one would be sitting calling him grandpa because of his date of birth. I can't have kids and that's why that "granny" comment stung. I've just had enough for the moment. That comment was just downright horrible and I need a break. Nothing more to say. I could say a lot more about why that "granny" comment really upset me - and it has nothing to do with my age. More to do with the fact that I don't have kids (not my choice). (I can't be arsed. That was a horrible nasty cheap dig) Some people can't have kids. For lots of reasons - and I had someone on here calling me "granny" - too right it stung. And then you have other people having swipes at you every time you post. I've stepped back from here because of comments like that. Ones that would not be levelled at men the same age as me. There is no point when all folk do is laugh at you and post laughter emoticons at everything you post. It becomes a sort of self torture in the end - one I am no longer here for. I log in once in a blue moon and only make the occasional post: in contrast, you post a lot; as do grizzlyg and weeyin, for example. It is what it is, and each to their own, but if everybody was like me there wouldn't be a forum. I'd hope that - in the vast majority of instances at least - misogyny isn't a factor, but I'm hardly qualified to judge.

You might be right but I just can't be bothered with it any more. I also don't think I post more than most - I've cut down the posts I make on here lately - for that exact same reason. Folk digging you out or laughing at everything you post. Folk don't need to be sarky if they disagree with you. I disagree with plenty of people on here and vice versa but there's civility there. Just going to caveat this by saying I'm not discounting your point of view either. But I'm one of the few female posters on here and sometimes I feel I get chinned for posts other people wouldn't. And sometimes it feels very uncomfortable - and personal. I was referred to by a male poster as a "granny" on here as I've been going to watch Motherwell since 1987. That would not be levelled at a male poster - it wasn't STV that said it - but that's apparently acceptable and funny

Skim back through their posts and you'll see that @stv has delivered a sarky response to most people, it's just what they do. Given you post more than most, it's not surprising you've had a few bites, but I don't think it's anything targeted/personal.

Motherwell are choosing not to tell fans about injuries. Do people really think that a player would have a clause in their contract that fans couldn't know about their injuries?

I respectfully don't agree. Kettlewell used to give updates on injuries in his interviews. So why has this changed. Don't you think fans have the right to know more?

The lack of information, in some cases, may be required by contractual provisions. I suspect in many cases, much, although not all, of this information, will be known by rival managers.

All the fans need to know is a player is injured, and not available for selection, with additional updates when they are back training and/ or fit to play. How would you feel about your GP giving constant updates on any injury or illness you had, the same applies to football clubs. So no need for any additional communications.

The communications from the club has fallen off a cliff since Alan Burrows left. Don’t get me wrong, it was overkill at times and a lot of it was unnecessary (a coffee and a chat with x, y or z etc) but the club were on the front foot with communicating with the fanbase when Burrows was here.

What's that got to do with him giving journalists an update on injuries

The club used to give regular updates on injured players. When Slattery did his ACL there were tweets of him in his hospital bed the day of his operation and regular updates about when he would be back. With respect I don't see a player being injured and an approximate time of return being confidential at all. As a fan I don't expect to know everything about an injury but surely some time frame on a return for fans is something fans should expect. I also don't see how not saying would give opposition managers an advantage - because just because someone is available doesn't mean they are going to be picked

If it was an illness, I would very much agree. That said, by divulging injuries and keeping illness confidential, you would effectively highlight a player with an illness, so it brings you back to the same place......

I think that nature of the injury and timeframe for return is very much confidential information, but as you say, it could be equally likely we don't want to let opponents know who is available any given week.

The club were ok at giving injury updates when Kettlewell was here. Pretty sure he used to give updates in his interviews.

Ive had a look on the club website and I dont see anywhere that this information is listed. Its been a frustration for sometime and not something we have been very good at since Flow left. I get that some of it is private medical information and thats down to the player themselves, but I dont think it would be breaching any confidences to state the basic nature of the injury and timeframe for return. Of course it could be down to managers not wanting to give opponents too much information in a bid to keep them guessing. From what little I know or can glean from other sources the list looks like this.... Robinson - Achilles - October Stuparevic - Knee - Long term Nicholson - knee - unknown Sule - unknown - unknown Sparrow - muscle - unknown McGhee - thigh - unknown McGinn - unknown - unknown Stamatelopoulos - shoulder - unknown Slattery - unknown - 5/6 weeks Hendry - unknown - unknown For a club our size, thats a lot to contend with......

Sorry, didn’t know where to ask this question. Is there an injury list available anywhere showing what players are out, what the injury is and target date to have them available for selection again?
