  1. But we are a selling club, we must sell sell sell...Sod this building a team to compete nonsense. We must continue bringing 20 fuds a season to find a nugget of gold to sell and play with our fingers x behind our backs every week in the hope we stay up every year. As for the actual football...if we can call it that...Enough to lose 100 punters ever week until the end of the season.

  2. That today was 2 sh*te teams cancelling each other out for 90 mins and them nicking it, which was so so predictable. The only ray of hope was Turnbull. Our most composed player is a 19 year old.

  3. Even McCall and Baraclough had more points on board by this stage of the season. It would be one thing if we were getting horsed by the better teams but looked ok, and were picking up points against our peer group. We simply can’t continue on the trajectory we’re on just now if we wish to stay in the league. Binning Robinson is only the start however as the new guy is going to be saddled with a squad devoid of any real quality and zero, pace, creativity or flair. Not to mention the bench filling utter garbage signed in the summer clogging up the wage bill. Whoever signed off on this ridiculous signing approach should be held to account also.

  4. I'm giving it to Frear. Both the St Johnstone counter attacks be created out of nothing were football wizardry.

  5. I think everyone has now had enough. We're simply awfull to watch. Can't remember when we last won a home league game. Being beat by awfull teams like Accies and St. Johnstone. Playing the dreadfully 3-5-2 . Not signing a decent left back. Ruining our better players like Campbell. Tait and Cadden. It's time for Robinson to go before a dreadfull period turns into relegation. Elliot Frear is dreadfull too at the moment and the team is seriously lacking. I believe we have decent players at our club but they ain't performing .

  6. Last week I said I'd give him another 2-3 games to convince me, but after that I change my mind. Time to go. The system isn't working, we didn't sign the players to make it work in the summer, and just about every player is devoid of confidence. Thanks for last season.

  8. Another desperate performance and against a team that we should be beating at home. Sick tired watching us just kick and chase. We've now played Hamilton, Livingston and St.Johnstone at home and only got 1 point from 9. Sorry but for me its now time up for Robinson. Board needs to act quickly and decisively if this is to be turned round.

  9. We were one dimensional last season but we got away with it for the most part as we were a team with a lot of new signings and everything was fresh and up until he left moult could produce a bit of magic out of nothing.this season we have been well and trully sussed by every opposition,we have next too no options from the bench, due too our shamblolic recruitment policy over the summer.we badly needed some new signings that could go straight into the first and freshen things up and help too push us on and build on what was a really good season last season.we got too 2 cup finals and sold kipre for a big sum and also keep the vast majority of last season squad but we have seriously gone backwards in such a short space of time.our home form is a real concern, one point from accies, livingston and st johnstone is simply not good enough and I wouldn't bank on us picking up many points away from home this season.for me nothing will change under robinson,he's a one trick pony, that is sticking by tactics that are failing more by each passing game, the players have been piss poor and need too take there share of the blame but right now the only obvious solution too get us out of the mess were in,is too change the manager.

  11. A team devoid of ideas and options. Punt and chase for more than a season now. This worked when we had a striker that could work from scraps or do it himself but Moult is long gone and so is any goal threat from this team. We may survive but it isn't going to be pretty and it is going to hit our attendances hard. Zero entertainment at Fir Park these days.

  12. It is a sad state of affairs. I like Robinson but his time is up. He just can't get the best out of our players and the crowds are down. The fans even the happy clappers must realise that we need a change.

  13. Today was totally down to Robinson and Robinson alone. Subbing off ATS if he's not injured is nothing short of an admission that he doesn't know what he's doing. The players look like they have no clue what he want's them to do. I like Robinson but his time as Motherwell manager has come to and end.

  14. If we can't beat a team as poor as that St. Johnstone team at home we are in serious trouble. For me two bad teams with very little quality between them basically cancelled each other out for most of the match but when it came down to the crunch St. Johnstone upped it and put us under pressure for the last 10 - 15 minutes. Shouldn't it be the home team doing that to the away team? Created virtually nothing in the second half except for a couple of excellent balls from Turnbull taking out the St. Johnstone defence. Main yet again proved his shooting is no where near good enough, even if he does work hard outside the box. We need a goalscorer desperately. In a year of league football (28/10/2017 - now) we have a 21.6% win ratio or 8 wins from 37 matches. We have now failed to score in 5 out of 9 league matches and conceded in all 9. Can only be described as atrocious. Things getting pretty serious now. We cannot lose to either St. Mirren or Dundee.

  16. I said after we got put out the cup that we needed 10 points from out next 6 games. So far we have 1 point from 5 with Dundee next. Simply not good enough and we are already being cut adrift of 8th place. time to go Robbo. The board has to act here and act quickly before its too late. Robbo has lost the plot and from the look of it possibly the dressing room. and please please dont go cheap again and replace him with Las!

  18. With any young players timing is key. Bring them in too soon and you risk destroying their confidence and they go backwards. However it’s what people have been asking for and it looks like it’s now going to start happening so hopefully they are able to make that step up. They are going to make mistakes and find it tough at times but hopefully fans don’t get on their backs and give them time.

  19. I don't think our style of play is especially dull, it's just not effective at the moment. I don't see anything wrong with aggressive, direct football - last season was pretty fucking entertaining- as long as it actually works, which it generally hasn't this season.

  20. As has been discussed on here numerous times before; play Frear in his correct position as a winger and he’s a useful player at this level. Play him as a wing back and he’s not any use. Pretty simple really.

  21. Steve Robinson would have Davie Cooper on the bench as there's parts of his game he need to work on. If we're still in the game with 15 to go he might bring him on to give us something a little different, but he can't rely on him for 90 mins. He needs to learn to do the ugly side of the game first and Connor Sammon did that brilliantly today, he's the kinda guy that Davie needs to look at in training and say you know what, that's what I need to aspire to if I want to be successful.

  22. We have a very tough fixture list coming up after the next two against Dundee and St. Mirren. As is well known I'm not particularly a fan of Robinson but I don't see what kind of improvement is likely from firing him given the upcoming matches. There is no point changing the manager over the next couple of months. Right now the change needs to come from the manager and his philosophy rather than a change of manager. If nothing improves when we get into December then will be the time to make the change and give the incoming manager a better chance to pick up points and bring in new faces. Bringing in a new manager to face off against Celtic twice, Aberdeen, Rangers, Hearts etc is basically chopping off the new guys legs straight from the start. I'm afraid you wanted Robinson and now you need to take your medicine.
