I actually think the manager will have been quite happy with Main's contribution the past few games. Sure, he's not scored, but his holding up of the ball, tireless running, pressuring of defenders and suchlike has allowed the midfield more space to do their thing. If he can add a few goals to his game then that would obviously be awesome, but I think he'd done the job asked lately.

Or at least say "Eddie May's manager at Motherwell was a useless ginger cunt who tried to play Eddie May as a right back when Eddie May was really a midfielder"

Good game where we ran out 3-1 winners, Bigi with a cross cum shot that went over the keeper and into the postage stamp Scott with a 20 yard rasper and McKinstry slotting home a through ball under the keeper. All in all a pretty good game. Mbulu went off injured early on Bigi strolled it McCormack got 75mins under his belt Donnelly went to CB when Mbulu went off injured and tbf looked pretty decent there. ATS didnt appear for the 2nd half ??!! The young CB Hussain looks pretty good on the ball as well.

I agree with that. Currently we can't match their physicality but we do have better football players. I think they'll sit in and hope that we just shell in high balls to their central defence and then launch high balls to their striker(s). Hopefully this time Robbo will prepare Mark Gillespie and our central defence to withstand roughhouse tactics at set pieces. Its a game we should be looking to win.

Serious question, could you put together a post explaining the reasons you feel he is out of his depth? If you can, can you avoid mentioning personal opinion on things like his background and his history, as these are things you've no idea about. I'm not trying to be facetious or pick an argument, i'm genuinely trying to understand why someone who people in high positions at other clubs have openly expressed the high regard in which they view him, who various members of Scottish media in all formats have voiced respect for, and who has recently been voted onto the board of directors of the SPFL, would be seen by one of his own clubs fans as seeing out of their depth? I genuinely can't get my head around it.

I’ve said it before and will again, if the remit is avoiding relegation he has met it. Robinson will be here again next season.

Vital result and keeps Robinson in and us watching shite for rest of the season. As long as we stay up we can wave him cheerio in May. I know Alan Burrows is a good guy/Motherwell to the core etc but a new chief exec would be nice too. Preferably someone who isn't out of his depth. Thank feck for Dundee. Virtually guaranteed a win against them. As soon as we get safe we can write this season off.
