  1. Got back from Newport at 11pm last night to the get up at 4am to get a bus from Preston at 6am this morning. Bus got a puncture on the M74 near Hamilton so 90 mins delayed. However, who gives a f””” after the end to that game and 6 on the bounce. COYW.

  2. Whether for the first time or for the umpteeth time that was a red card , not only that but the goal was deserved punishment too. Wine at dinner and bias has had no effect on my opinion.

  3. If younger supporters are often puzzled why many Old Boys don’t like Hearts, today was an object lesson. They are made very much in Levein’s image and that’s not a pretty sight. I can’t wait to see Jake’s piledriver on here (and our winner )

  4. Loved that today. Beating Hearts with a last minute goal was the perfect start to a Sunday. Naismith is a good player, a lovely fella off the pitch who does a lot for charity..... however he is a horrible dirty cheating little bastard on the pitch. An odious prick. Seeing him missing that chance before we scored was joyous. Grimmy getting right into his mince after the winner and also on the full time whistle was just tremendous. Get Grimmy a new contract. Hastie scores another belter but to me David Turnbull was again a class above. His ability to find space with the ball and his range of passing is a pleasure to watch. Let’s enjoy this lad while we have him as he will make it to the very top.

  5. He was clearly giving Naismith some grief after the winning goal, which deserves a contract extension in itself.

  6. A wee story on the BBC about Turnbull. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47272296 Contains this gem, courtesy of Neill McCann: Turnbull was getting hounded at the start of this winning run by fans because he was putting his foot on the ball and it was a bit different. But Stevie was brave enough to let him do it. McCann is even more clueless as a pundit than he was as a manager.

  8. An all round solid performance again. Turnbull excellent, Hastie dangerous on the ball, Alfred solid against a very difficult opponent, and a special mention for McHugh who I thought did really well on his time on the pitch. My man of the match though is Curtis Main who once again ran himself into the ground and made it hard for the Hearts back line.

  9. Excellent news to wake up to. And all the better for being able to watch the whole match later as it is being shown on a channel over here. Special thanks to Steelmaninoz for letting me know it was being broadcast. Off to work with a smile on my face.

  10. I've never agreed more with a post on this website. Michael Stewart makes Andy Walker look like Alan Hansen.

  12. And a lot of the balls that get sent his way are pretty much uncontrollable.

  13. I think Main deserves lots of credit for his graft. He isn't banging in the goals but he chases every ball and gives centre backs a nightmare. Only an online clearance denied him a goal today.

  14. We did really well to defend against a very direct Hertz team (funny how the media don't describe them as such). Dirty big Ukpezia (or what ever he is called) and diving little Naismith. Could not have been a better outcome and to hear Levein so down has made my day. On to us we certainly put a shift in and were always in the game. A point would have been acceptable but you have to buy a ticket to win it and well done Turnbull for giving it a go. What a goal from Hastie (the Bale DVD is in the post Jake). Very entertaining and Robinson deserves credit for giving the youth a chance. So exciting to go to Fir Park again.

  21. The thing I hate about this bullshit is the "its a short career" bollocks. Yes, pro footballer may be a relatively short career, but its not as if you stop being capable of working as soon as you turn 33! Get a fucking proper job and work till your in your 60's like the rest of us mugs! Even in football, you can be a coach, manager, physio, official, scout , pundit etc all long after you retire so its not even as if you have to leave the game completely. What gives a footballer the right to swan around "training" for 10 hours a week and then playing a match and think they are entitled to retire and never work again once they hit 35?
