  3. Livingston had Pittman, Jacobs, Bartley in the midfield. Maybe the reason they won the battle is because it's actually qualitatively better than ours.

  4. Give it rest with your usual crap. That pitch is an absolute disgrace and completely influenced the game today.

  6. At least we've got one defender now who's well used to playing on plastic!

  7. They shouldn't have to Andy. To save any hassle, they should open them up as soon as the stadium itself opens. They don't need to open up vast areas. How often do we see large sections of a stand at an away ground cordoned off and our travelling support hemmed/sardined/penned into a very restricted area causing unnecessary hassle. How often have we seen this at Hamilton and Livingston, for example, where we've seen fans arguing/pleading with slow acting stewards to open up other areas? At Fir Park, supports other than those of the gruseome twosome are typically given a generous area in which to sit - why can't other clubs do the same? A pet grouse of mine.

  8. As I said in the post you actually quoted, i'm not blaming it for our performance. In fact i'm not even relating it to specifically our game at all. It just makes watching football matches in general, a less appealing way to spend time when it's already too expensive across the board.

  9. It would be good to see the club coming out against plastic pitches. Fans are being robbed.

  10. I've never really waded in on the whole plastic pitch thing before, but it's getting beyond a joke. Not even blaming it for us not being great today, it just makes games shite to watch overall.

  11. Another Robinson masterclass. We should see if Turnbull wants to choose the tactics during his recovery because the manager doesn't have a clue.

  12. Unfortunately, as I suspected after seeing a couple of the league cup games the midfield is poor and weak..... Polworth disappears for long spells and Donnelly (whilst winning a few headers) is nowhere near good enough to dictate play in the top league. Campbell battling a way as usual but without much quality. Worried about Ilic stupidly getting himself sent off now he’s been booked....he should be booked at HT. Livi rightly leaving Dunne as the spare man when we get the ball, his passing the majority of the time is awful....Gillespie to thank for still at 0-0, big big improvement needed in the 2nd half or this is going one way.

  16. I've not been able to get on Livi's site for around the past 2 hours. Given everything I'm reading - I might end up giving this a miss. That's 1 adult and 2 kids' money they're potentially losing out on.

  17. Best either in the centre itself or trying the one at side of the ground. There is one at top called Lime Kiln but they will only serve you a pint if you order food

  18. I don't disagree with that Dave (and you can add Dumbarton to your list too) my post was more in response to the lines above that both Motherwell's ticket office and the section set aside for online booking had been fully taken up. That in itself should both give Livingston advance notice that additional sections will be required from the minute the turnstiles open and if as has been suggested the sections already sold number around 1000, that's going to take 1000 off the number who need to queue twice to buy a ticket and then get in.

  19. Football is an entertainment business. As someone who is thinking of going tomorrow but due to personal circumstances it will be a decision made around 2pm having read the shenanigans on here about queuing for a ticket then queuing again at the turnstile I think I will give it a miss. How many others are put off by this and how many other entertainment enterprises make it difficult for paying customers?

  20. I'd happily pay twice that price to be at "The Fountain of Youth Stadium" on the day that these money-grubbing fucking vermin are finally relegated once and for all.
