  1. How much worth is a Polworth worth if a Polworth's worth has worth?

  2. I'm surprised as they have a stand named after him at Pittodrie.

  3. Andrew Barrowman @ Caley! 30 goals in championship, maybe 4 the next in the Prem

  4. I would agree that his pysicality is up for question and hence his defensive capability, but surely no one is still questioning his work ethic? He is at the forefront of things in our high press and from my view works hard to get goalside and supports his defenders when he has to. He is no David Turnbull, who should walk back into the team when he is fit, but then he didnt cost us £3.5m so comparisons arent really fair. A midfield of Donnelly, Campbell, Turnbull, Polworth could be very exciting to watch. Add in Hylton with Long up top we could have the makings of a very dynamic forward line.

  5. Also missing Ryan porteous and Jason Naismith to add to those defensive worries.

  6. With regards to Shankland I think there is a reason he is still in the championship, If he was the player he is made out to be Celtic, Rangers, clubs down south, even Hearts Hibs and Aberdeen would have been all over him last summer, They weren't.

  7. I still haven't quite worked out Hibs since Ross took over. In our last game we passed them off the park for large spells, but we lacked any quality or cutting edge in the final third and they took advantage. In other games they've cuffed Aberdeen, lost to Livi and Ross County and struggled to get past Accies in midweek. I thought they dominated for large spells in their cup tie against Utd, but still only managed a draw. If we are a bit sharper in the box than we were at Easter Road last time out, it should be enough to get 3 points here.

  8. Do we really need a goalie? Nobody will get the ball off Turnbull/Polworth anyway.

  9. I dont see how Polworth can split opinion he has been outstanding. He is a poor mans kevin de bruyne and I mean that as a huge compliment too him. Its some typical scottish football fans that think he cant tackle and gets pushed around easily but not only is his passing excellent his work rate is too. My player of the year so far ahead of even gallagher as if he wasnt there id worry about us getting many chances a game to score.

  10. I'm still concerned at our lack of options up front. Taking Long out of it, the likes of Scott, Manzinga, Ndjoli and MacIver aren't exactly experienced at this level. Apart from our loanee, the others are work in progress and haven't been seen much in the first team and James Scott isn't yet ready to play in the middle. That said goals have come from quite a few players.
