  1. Robinson made his “too loyal to certain players” comment after Tuesday, so I’m predicting: Gillespie Grimshaw Gallagher Hartley Tait Campbell Polworth Donnelly Aarons Watt Hylton

  2. Bad news re Carroll, who is another that’s had a good season in my opinion, he also gives us that balance being left footed! Hopefully we’ll have Dunne and Turnbull back in a few weeks. A midfield of Campbell, Ohara and Turnbull, with Dunne, Donnelly and Gallagher at the back and Watt & Long up front sounds appealing. Add Aarons who has done well and you have more than the makings of a good team. My feeling of doom after Tue is finally starting to lift... Life as a Motherwell fan, eh....

  3. I would honestly contend that a fit Charles Dunne is currently better than Paolo Maldini. To be fair to Paolo, he is fifty one. It is also interesting to note that predictive text prefers " Maldivian" to "Maldini". And finally, does anyone else have issues with a player whose first name is Charles? I am sorely tempted to start the ball rollong on finding a nickname for Charles Dunne. Anyone for "Chico"?

  4. I don’t want to be smarty pants or any of the sh1t. But I was delighted we signed O’Hara on loan. I always thought he played well against us whether for Dundee or Killie iirc. He has had a tough time breaking into the team because of Polworth, Campbell and Donnelly. But last few games I would have started him over either Campbell or Donnelly. We have a few injuries but so do Accies. Rice is saying they will be unrecognisable from the side that beat us before Xmas in terms of personnel. So we cannot use our injuries as an excuse. Hope to god Deccy is fit but was really impressed by Donnelly at the back in the 2nd half v St Mirren. He may not want to play there but I would play him alongside Gallacher until Dunne is fit. That way we can fit O’Hara in alongside Polworth and Campbell. Long unlikely to be fit so Watt to start. Penalty miss aside (I know it was crucial) I thought Hylton had a good game when he came on. I am missing next two games so 6 or 4 points is the least I expect as a result. Get us back on track for top 4.

  5. There is literally nothing about the 'reserves' in the match programme any more. Didn't used to be the case, when they covered it thoroughly with match reports, stats and line ups. Poor really. As I've said over and over, youth development needs to be a completely integral part of our club strategy.
