  1. I'm going for a beer when this is over. If anyone from the first team squad wants to come along I'm buying.

  2. Scored a goal and won a penalty so far in his two cameos so has been effective to a point in the box , id be giving him a start ahead of the guy who he replaced today but as a disclosure i've never liked Long and wasnt pleased when he turned up again this season.

  3. Any chance you could go to Aberdeen for that pint

  4. Hastie is still showing that all he had was a purple patch and nowt else, but like everything its early days. Had we won the opening two games we wouldn't be championship contenders, equally two defeats doesnt make us relegation fodder .......yet

  5. There’s a player in Long if you play to his strength ……… running the channels and putting the ball in behind NOt firing the ball at him and hoping for the best

  6. We were poor. teams are going to happily let us “dominate” possession if that’s all we can do with it. We didn’t pose any threat whatsoever.

  7. If were going to start the second half with the same wide men, then we have to try something different and swap them over as both have offered absolutely nothing, hasties bambi on ice routine has been brutal to watch.

  8. The unfortunate thing is, any other manager (+ management team) in world football would be under serious pressure after 1 win in 11 matches. But Robbo is bulletproof and knows it, and when he does choose to go (because his pal will never sack him), Las will take the job from him so what incentive do they really have to change or improve things? All they need to do is keep with the same old bollocks excuses and everything is rosy. Its no secret I am not a fan of Robbo, and Im not saying he should be getting sacked this week, but Burrows should be doing the proverbial Rab Douglas on him and be looking for answers, because the utter shite we are being served up is as embarrassing as the clubs attempt at ripping the fans off with cheapo attempts at "live streaming" matches Robinson was backed to the hilt with his summer signings, they were nearly all brought in early and in the positions he wanted so there are no excuses for the team looking so unfit, disjointed and generally shambolic. And if he plays Tony Watt at left fucking wing again he needs a fucking slap!

  10. Launching a throw into the box may be a better bet than Grimmy throwing it at a purple shirt

  11. That was really grim today. Grimshaw at his best is poorer than Tait at his worst. We need to sort that position out pronto, but I fear he's in for the season as he's one of Robinson's favourites. Hylton should be on the pitch every day of the week over Hastie. He has his dodgy moments, but Hylton generally makes a lot more happen than all of our other wide players combined (White's chopped off goal for example) Hastie went cold just before we sold him and he's looked like a riot so far. Also, playing Seedorf on the left does not work, it was blatantly obvious last season. We just looked like a boys club today, absolutely toothless and devoid of motivation and ideas. I fear getting rid of Tait and Hartley has removed some much needed experience from the squad. Mugabi is clearly shaky, but I don't think the defence was the main issue today. Using Seedorf and Long as target men is a wild strategy for starters, and consistently playing players on their weaker side gives us zero going forward.

  13. Its all about opinions , to me he's like a Scott McDonald, without the talent or the goals

  14. Outside the brief Gorrin era it always has been under Robinson.

  15. Having to move on Tait and Hartley with Mugabi under contract is tragic.

  19. At least the midfield looks a better balance See Grimmy is still good wi the shy’s … … instead of throwing it to the opposition he’s now throwing it right out the park

  20. Seedorf played well against Ross county on the right wing. So Robinson plays him on the left wing. ... fantastic.

  21. Or because he has paid for a product and is not getting what he wanted or expected. I bought a season ticket and was happy to watch the game via stream. But not being able watch at all is severely pissing me off

  24. Agreed given how poor Hastie was on Monday, but can Watt play on the wing?

  25. While I've bought the odd training top over the years I haven't bought a home or away shirt since the 91 cup final. I took a punt on this one though and it arrived today. No sponsor helps make it a belter.
