Don't be ridiculous...we'd never had scored seven...!!

Last time Maguire started a game he had the most key passes in the match. Get him in there, give him game times, let him make mistakes, stick by him. I see a player in him, always have done.

The Crawford/Maguire switch is baffling. I'm a big fan of Crawford in his 2 or 3 appearances for us, but Maguire has been very solid last couple of games. And Rickie Lamie at Ibrox vs a flying Rangers? One foot in the 'Robbo Out' camp. Edit - if you wanna go 5-3-2 or whatever that's fine, but put O'Hara at centre half, put Polworth in midfield and put Lamie on a plane to utter utter fuck. Ten past two and I'm fuming

I was happy with everything up to the substitution that brought White on. It was great discipline and after giving away so much possession 1-1 wasn’t a bad result. But putting White on reduced our midfield barrier and created no positives. Flicking a ball on was pointless. That was the point that we conceded the match.

Just watched the highlights or lowlights. 1st and 3rd goals were avoidable. 2nd was more unlucky imho. Polworth could have tried to clear for the third...BUT Mugabi was quite literally horrendous for the 1st. A very basic defensive header which he totally mistimed. They probably would have won anyway or got a draw at least but to lose the 1st goal from what should have been a routine header is unforgivable. Mugabi was also mainly responsible for the 3rd. I suspect he was played today as we needed to load central defence. But for me get O Hara back to central defence and Mugabi on the bench going forwards.

Does anyone else worry about our substitutions? Every game someone comes on at 60-65 mins and it never works. Today was another example. We were leading, everyone was doing a job when we didn’t have the ball (a lot, I know) dropping off into 2 banks of 5 and it seemed to be working. When the substitution was made we were left with less of an outlet and lost goals not long after. My main gripe is why change it? If it’s because of tiredness then I don’t understand how a pro sportsman can’t last 90 mins. Watt didn’t look to be breathing heavily on leaving the pitch and actually looked a bit annoyed at being hooked.

Agreed if we're playing o'hara it should be at centre back but he obviously wasn't brought in to play there.going into this season with mugabi and lamie as our options was absolutely farcical.

Better outcome than I expected. Better performance than I expected. But way more frustrated than I expected to feel too. Perfect start with the early goal and for what, the first hour, it was pretty routine stuff for Archer to deal with. Tiredness was beginning to show but the temptation to simply hold on proved to be too tempting. We were already struggling to get up the park by that stage to take yet another option out of the equation just made the one way traffic incessant. The choice of replacement for Watt was definitely wrong. Cole, who has already scored at Ibrox or even Seedorf to take advantage of his pace seemed much more obvious choices. Two opportunities to make proper clearances with Grimshaw initially and then Archer's weak clearance (some of his distribution incidentally was miles out) and a break of the ball later that was it. I suspect many would have felt at that point the game was up. Disappointing to concede the second from a corner when we had so many bodies in there defending and the third had that feeling of being academic. I take some encouragement from the way they went about their business today. Effort couldn't be faulted. Bodies were put on the line to block shots and crosses but we ran out of steam, made poor choices I think with the changes, ran out of luck and here we are regretful at having fluffed an opportunity at Ibrox where you're a goal up with twenty minutes left.

Just frustrating when we got so close. Makes it a long game watching it but probably a better approach than open football. We are not very good at open football just now.

Those substitutions were horrendous. If I was a player I’d be totally pissed off at having worked my arse off only for the manager to make a total arse of it.

We lost 3-1 and avoided a humping so its job done. We move on to Aberdeen.

Robinson seems to refuse to acknowledge that Mugabi, McGinley, Lamie and White are chronic and not good enough for the league. Accies and St Mirren are showing far, far more fight than we have demonstrated at any point this season. If we get pulled into a relegation battle we are in trouble.

Davis could've been off there. Of course there wasn't a peep from the bangers commentating. Even though Tony Watt grabbing a jersey five mins prior was 'absolutely inexcusable'.

Beggars belief that he starts Lamie, nothing against Ricki but not his fault, its Robbo that picks the team. He has picked a team that the Robbo out camp will have a field day with and the Robbo Must stay camp will no doubt defend. Yep I'm with you and can see what hes trying to do. Obviously being realistic it's going to be very hard going but the reaction of our fans to the team before game has started is so negative and predictable. The way he has set up will be exactly same as how st Mirren set up. Yes lamie has been poor and maybe dropping ohara into defense instead with Maguire in midfield is a decision. And cole for lang but what else? I still believe polworth is our best player but hes been off it for a bit although was gd when on last week. I'm hoping as everyone on here we produce something.

Don't accept it if we don't need it

These games aren't about turning up with an 'attitude'. If that were the case lower league sides with an attitude would be winning trophies. They're not because the real issue is quality of player. St Mirren pulled off their shock result with a game plan that worked on the night not an attitude. And they still just barely got that result so I don't think anyone should be reading too much into it. St Mirren managed to negate Tavernier while focusing on breaking down the other side at Bassey. As I say it worked on the night and is a game plan many others including Robinson may now be looking at. If you can stop Tavernier playing you might disturb their momentum. But I don't see Rangers being any less of a formidable force because of one loss in what is it? About 27 games or something like that? They're still massive favourites to win this. And personally I would prefer they hadn't lost their winning run just before we play them at Ibrox.
