  2. Really..? Your whole post. Go for a walk and get some fresh air and cheer the fuck up. Never seen so many negative posts in my life. Give the guy a chance. Everyone knows that sometimes a person clicks at a club see Watt for us. Hasn't even kicked a ball and your calling him drivel.. Absolute nonsense post and constantly looking for something, anything negative to say about the club, Burrows and almost every player. That enough for you? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

  4. Sign a player piss an moan,Ceo talks about number of players siging piss and moan.Ffs folk on here really need to chill out.I am at the stage where we could go unbeaten in the league, thump the ugly sisters home and away and folk would be like the club need to sort the wee bit of grass behind the away end it looks to dried out by the sun. Great to see the club making moves and hope the other two players we get add something.

  5. Ah, the old" he must be good, he cost a lot of money" gambit. If only it were as simple as that. Anyone for Shaun McSkimming?

  6. I think it's actually refreshing that flow engages with fans on twitter, anytime I've ever seen his tweets its only ever used in a positive way.ive seen a number of fans of opposition clubs wish there CEO would interact with them the way flow does with us.

  8. I'm still waiting ! I must clarify re my unwonted change of position in my anecdote, or, as Charlie Nicholas would have it, antidote: while playing at RB for Kirktonholme PS, our CH (can't remember his/her name) would always pick up a handful of blaes and throw it at me if I moved inside to tackle the opposition. The words "Wing! Wing!" still ring in my ears. I was traumatised and so have started a blog about it.......

  10. Surely better than Donnelly and McGuire but that wouldn't be hard

  11. Have you ever actually seen him play? Fair enough if he ends up being another player who barely features or makes no impact but at least give him a chance!

  13. We have signed Sean Goss ex Rangers and St Johnstone on a 2 year deal. Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth commence. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

  14. I have to agree, Burrows conflates personal and professional to a degree far beyond that which is acceptable. There’s information posted on podcasts, online interviews etc. that isn’t shared with the wider community and this information flow is limited to those actively seeking - which is totally wrong for a fan owned club whereby any and messaging should be available to all. I posted elsewhere last week about his personal account communication which I found below that standard which should be expected and once again, it has happened. Signing news, views on the club or strategy are not burrows to share, they are the clubs. A CEO position demands that those two things remain fastidiously aligned.

  15. Every other Premiership CEO, frantically refreshing Alan Burrow's Twitter, "haud the bus, Motherwell are hoping to sign at least one before deadline day!"

  18. I posted previously maybe on another thread that if we had a goalkeeper of Randolph's quality we would have won the league that season.

  19. He was absolutely rotten, I honestly hate criticising players past or present but this guy used to wake me up in a cold sweat at night. Having loads of brothers and sisters it was a luxury for me to get along to games when I was younger, everytime I seemed to go he always added another notch to his blooper reel. I know he played 100+ games for the side, he signed for the club when we were desperate for keepers, despite being installed as number one initially he lost his place to Scott Howie only filling in for injuries for the next three years or so. He enjoyed a run in the team in the 1997/98 season when Howie ubruptly left a week before the season was about to kick off, we had that guy Pegguy Arphexad in on trial but as his international clearance didn't come in time for a pre season friendly against Aston Villa the club didn't offer him a deal and we ran with Woods with Gary Gow as back up then eventually Scott Thomson, but in all honestly I believe the club was really skint at this point. He battled it out with Mikko Kaven for the spot the following season before Andy Goram arrived, Stevie actually managed to grab the no1 jersey from Goram for a handful of games but he scuppered that with a clearance against Killie all to similar to the one against Rangers in the cup. Andy seemed to have many injury issues which gave Woods plenty runs in the side. He eventually took over from Mark Brown if I remember correctly which was the admin season, the following year he went into the campaign as first choice but after his Livingston horror show he lost his place to Francois Dubourdeau. He was a better winger than a goalie. I'm sorry to say but the two worst keepers I've seen with my own eyes in a Well top are Woods and Samson and it's scary that both are current coaches in Scotland top league.

  20. Back in my school days Wishaw Central used to play on a ash park. … … It was a bit of everything black/red you name it.

  21. Young yins nowadays that complain about plastic parks don't know they're born. Bring back the old 'blaize' parks, there was even an old black ash one I remember used to be in Blantyre. Going to school the next day with your trousers stuck to the seeping wounds on your leg. That'll show them how real men learned the game !!

  23. Why does Burrows feel the need to share the club's future business plans on Twitter?? I don't see other CEOs of SPFL clubs doing this...
