  4. You make a good point, the chances of alessio working out at kilmarnock were slim from the very start.the guy has worked at the highest level and will have standards to match it,there was no way guys like boyd and broadfoot would be up for changing there diet and doing extra training sessions, they two have built a career on having it easy at ibrox.mind the same happened at rangers with paul le guen and it was barry ferguson that was leading the clique against him cause he didn't want to be doing anymore than he wanted to.you would the players at kilmarnock at the time would have been desperate to learn from someone that's worked at the top but there seemed to be issues right from the off.

  5. We really need to bringing in a couple of defenders that are actually going to make us better, magloire isn't good enough,I would much rather give oconnor game time that bring him back.

  6. don't think you're that hazy - pretty much spot on. Why we persevere with players who weren't quite good enough is frustrating. Roberts for example - why we resigned him twice is lost on me. Magloire would be the same. No harm in testing people but when proven not be good enough for starting position we should move on.

  7. The locked out season is all a bit hazy but was Magloire not utter pish and could barely pass the ball five yards?

  8. Completely agree! I remember an interview he gave early on about the adjustments he had to make after his early experiments. Basically giving up the short passing from our box and letting Kelly play it longer. I think he ended up being over reliant on Kelly's long ball in a number of games when we could be playing more through Slattery, Goss, Maguire or whoever.
