  1. Sounds to me more like he's saying he's always been well aware of those things, and that they're the mitigating factors that should give him more time.
  2. To my knowledge he hasn't set up a team in that formation in the past 13 years, so that would be quite a surprise to say the least, and perhaps even a tactical masterstroke.
  3. In last season's EPL, the ball was in play for an average of 55 minutes, so you'd end up playing anything up to 20 minutes of stoppage time in each half. Would either have to come up with some other definition of "when the game stops", or reduce the length of a half from 45 to 30 minutes. (And people would still find plenty to complain about in both those scenarios, I'm sure.)
  4. The number on the board is a minimum, ref can add as much over and above as he sees fit.
  5. People have said that on here every year for at least the past 10 years.
  6. Fair enough... guess he forgot to update his Wikipedia page
  7. Jamie Murphy at Ayr Utd, Mark Reynolds at Cove Rangers, Marc Fitzpatrick at Airdrie. Chris Porter was released by Oldham at the end of last season after spending most of it out with DVT, and hasn't found another club.
  8. Presume he meant unbeaten away league record... we'd already lost home league games under SK before yesterday.
  9. Two backheels in the one move, no wonder we’re joint top of the league.

    Pay at the gate

Yeah, dunno what the cutoff time is, if any.

    Pay at the gate

You can already do that, I just bought one for the Killie game and it's now in my Google Wallet...

You'd also have to figure out how to tell the PATG folk where to sit, because everyone who bought a ticket in advance will have an assigned seat. And for better or for worse, we've all seen folk getting arsey when they're either or not sitting or can't sit where their ticket says they should be sitting, even in a half-empty stadium.
  13. Technically Eddie Braben's joke, most likely...
  14. Law 9 (The Ball In and Out of Play) says:
  15. I have no problem with the design of the shirt. It just annoys me that nothing on the top lines up with anything on the shorts, so it all looks a bit mix'n'match.
  16. Isn't it usually the player who chooses from the available numbers? (Outwith 1-11, which I presume the managerial staff choose.)
  17. Jones and Maaskant had 25 first team appearances between them, I think forgetting about them is more down to old age than obscurity!
  18. Nope. We've still got weeks to sort out the playing staff.
  19. As far as I'm concerned, if whatever the sponsor wants to do fits in the band and doesn't give you a migraine (here's looking at you, Zoom) it's fine by me. Just a little odd that G4 do have a logo that might have given it a bit less of a summer intern vibe, but they've chosen not to include it.
  20. Hang on, you're supposed to respond?
  21. He's the only player my other half has ever seen score for Motherwell (other than on the telly).
  22. No idea I'm afraid, I tend to avoid plumbing the depths of fitba' Twitter to investigate random fans' opinions these days.

    Alexander.

Can't say I even particularly mind him, I remember him much more for his first season with us than his last.
  24. From the replays we saw on MFC TV, disallowing the goal was unfortunately the correct decision.
