Soon as Kettlewell changed it we were a different team Bair and Vale should start every game if fit for me.
Bair so much better when in a two.
We were awful until that point, credit to him for making the change.

A ghastly performance but three very good goals. A huge 3 points. All of a sudden St Johnstone beating Aberdeen looks like a good result for us!

In other news, I would not be surprised to see Rangers score at least 10 against us this weekend. That would be the end of Kettlewell, surely.
We could go down and it wouldn't be the end of him. Genuinely.
-
A couple of big chances for us, if we can find a way to get level we could go on and win this, despite being so poor so far.

Maybe we were not so bad on sunday, Celtic 5-0 up
Maybe Lamie will cancel his pre-contract again

I missed the first 10 minutes, sounds like an awful goal to concede
Still plenty of time.

No, but I am assuming he's dropped one of our best players this season for a reason, rather than just to piss you off. Probably a football or player related reason that neither of us know.
You are likely right, and I very much hope it’s the case. I guess we’ll never know.

Since you know he's been dropped, why?
I don't know why he’s been dropped. I’m saying if he’s been dropped coz he’s injured or carrying a knock then fair doos.
If it’s because he had one average game or if it’s to accommodate O’Donnell then imo that’s a poor decision from the manager.

Don't try turning this into a sensible line up made by someone who knows more than we do. The fans need something to greet about.
He’s dropped one of our best players this season and all you can do is suggest people are moaning for the sake of it?
No, you’re right, it’s a brilliant line up. Everything is brilliant. Kettlewell is brilliant. Clap clap happy clap.

Now if only someone had the hindsight to run into that channel for the floated ball into space. Simples.
Or if the professional footballer could actually pass the fuckin ball.

If Gent isn’t injured then Kettlewell has truly lost the plot.
Then again starting Floaty Into The Channel To Nobody O’Donnell for any reason whatsoever suggests he’s already lost it.
-
That's an absolutely huge goal for us from St Mirren tonight.
-
I predict we will start brightly and go a goal up and shit the bed in the second half and lose 2-1.
It’s not quite “must win” but it absolutely is “must not lose”.

Can we get the Lewis guy the fuck off commentary already? His paranoia is Old Firm-esque and every single touch on a Motherwell player he howls for a foul.
Today when Collum went to the monitor he was bizarrely saying it was because Collum wanted to insert himself into the limelight or something similar, following it up with “it’s only taken 80 minutes”, and he unashamedly glosses over his own comments when Collum does the right thing and sticks by his decision.
It is so hard to listen to.
”A foul there surely on Spittal, but the referee doesn’t seem to think so…” every two minutes.

Spittal for Scotland.

George Newell scores a hat-trick for Bala Town, the team we nearly faced but got Sligo instead.
-
We're playing well and look comfortable defensively. Vale with his second dive of the game there, don't like that.
Compared to other Celtic teams, this one is poor. Callum MacGregor really should get himself out and play in the Premiership while he can.

Fuck sake.

Unbelievable that we allow this person to post verbal pish on this forum.
42 minutes ago, Wee Dougie said:honestly you need to move elsewhere.!!!!!.
I gotta say for a guy with 42 posts it's extremely unfair for you to insinuate he should be banned or we shouldn't "allow" (😄) him to post here.
I disagree with a lot of what he says, including this instance, but I also agree with much of what he has had to say about our torrid season, Kettlewell's abysmal record, the small mind mentality vs the OF and the pish on Twitter about "welcome to our wee club", among other things.
Just because he can be very negative and sometimes quite dramatic doesn't mean he shouldn't have the right to post his views, and he's been doing it a lot longer than you have.

For set pieces you get touch tight, block, harry and harass your opponent to stop him getting a free run at goal. To have nobody within a yard of Shankland let alone not actually touching him as the ball is played is just so so bad and basic and avoidable. If you do all that and he beats you in the air then fair doos, but to give him a free unblocked run at goal is a shocker.
As for the second goal, O'Donnell is generally quite solid defensively, it's his aimless hoofballs I criticise, but he hasn't covered himself in glory there, needs to be tougher.
Bad bad goals to concede. Story of our season.

Damage limitation before a huge game against Livi afterwards.
-
I didn't see the first half and only saw the 2nd half on an infuriatingly choppy stream, but from what I saw we looked like we were competing, just once again lacking anything in the final third, and undone by an avoidable set piece. Disappointing as it would've been a great point.
Bair has been great, but Vale is untested and Obika is extremely ineffective. The fact that these are our striking options along with an injured Oli Shaw and young Ferrie is just unacceptable.
-
I watched a bit of Raith vs Dundee Utd last night. Really hope we avoid the playoff spot as both looked quick and decent. Moult got a goal and Watt missed a sitter inside the first couple of minutes.

Surely that's enough? As long as he does those things and keeps it simple, the other midfielders can try all of the fancy stuff.
Yeah absolutely enough, if he could carry the ball and finish he'd be somewhere other than Motherwell.
51 minutes ago, grizzlyg said:Spittal is another under valued. Now yes I gave him dogs abuse at Alloa game due to his corners being poor but his assists and goals record superb. We all have our favourite players and ones we like to criticise, as long as it's done in the right manner it's all healthy
Let's do this tomorrow

You regularly tell people not to boo players (which I agree with), I don't see how happily admitting you give Spittal dogs abuse is any better.

Said it a couple of times, but Spittal has to have a small chance of making a Scotland squad soon.
