  1. He signed an extension until 2019 back in 2016. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2016/03/30/campbell-signs-extended-deal/
  2. It's a concussion, could be any length of time.
  3. 3-4-1-2 Tanner playing 'in the hole' off Fisher and Petravicius. MacLean and Livingstone as wing-backs.
  4. (Work permitting) I'm heading along, so my interest is now suitably piqued.
  5. Fwiw they highlighted Campbell when they covered the win against Hearts.
  6. It'd be that run in the 2nd half of the season before last when we finished 5th. 27th Feb-2nd April 2016 won 5 on the bounce.
  7. Given Cadden shut Jones down pretty effectively in the 3-1 game at the end of the season it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he went to RWB and Tait swapped over to the left. Any of Bigi, Campbell, MacLean or Grimshaw could drop into the right of the central 3.
  8. He's a cracking player tbf. The only question I'd say there is relates to the amount of time he's used to getting in dev league games. Most midfields just stand off him and let him pick his passes. He's not going to get anywhere near that amount of time in first team games. He's not the quickest but he's pretty much got everything on the technical side. Smashing first touch, comfortable on the ball, great range of passing, has the vision to see the game ahead of him too and can have a dig from distance. I noticed in the Queens Park game he was even putting in tackles in the centre of the park. I've said it before but he just looks like a natural footballer. I'd have thought he'd have been one of the obvious choices to go out on loan along with Hastie tbh.
  9. 2 of the 5 out on loan were playing yesterday. Ferguson would have been cup-tied, Watt would be over-age, neither played in the Queens Park tie. The only loan player missing would have been Hastie. I'm guessing Shea Gordon was away with the Northern Ireland u21s.
  10. McMillan would be the other one. https://spfl.co.uk/docs/067_324__challengecupregulations201730june_1501603596.pdf McMillan was 19 on 18th December last year.
  11. If you believe The Sun which I tend not to, because...it's The Sun the sell-on we're due is 25%. Again...it's The Sun.
  12. Pretty much. For a bit of context Liam Lindsay had a couple of years on his deal and Thistle got £350k plus future incentives for him from Barnsley. Greg Stewart had a year left on his deal and Dundee got £500k for him (player who had been voted into various Team of The Year awards). If we're getting anywhere near £300k plus add ons for Heneghan then it's a decent bit of business for a player we got for nothing, owe no sell on for and who we've got a season out of and whose form in that period has been patchy. Our "model" is a two way street, the club's side of the bargain is being reasonable when it comes to offers. If we sell the club to prospective players as a "platform" then being seen to price a player out the market if a Championship side comes along isn't really a good look. By all means we should be aiming to maximise what we can get for our players and get value but there needs to be a certain amount of realism there. As Desp says selling for a reasonable (but not prohibitive) up front fee and building in sell on clauses is the way we're most likely to benefit. The possible income off any forthcoming deal for Johnson in this window surely illustrates that.
  13. Andy Devlin's tweet was posted at 14:09, Agent Scotland posted 14:14 with a "slight" difference to make it look #ITK. It's actually astounding that people actually engage with the utter chancer.
  14. Suggestion from The Sun's Football League reporter that a few clubs including Norwich and Birmingham are interested in Heneghan, depending on other targets. https://twitter.com/TomBarclay_/status/902496709464469507
  15. Somewhat ironically I'd have said the Hodson handball was much less of a pen than the one against Hearts at the weekend. Though both, for me, fall squarely into the "seen them given" category.
  16. Totally forgot that one given against McManus against ICT (the one re-taken for encroachment). He can't even see the ball as it's headed from behind him against his hand.
  17. Given Lasley had a pen given against him (and was sent off) when a shot that was heading over the bar hit his hand as he's stretching to block in the last minute of the 3-3 against Accies I'd have said a shot that was on target and has been blocked by the defender's two arms is a pretty decent shout for a pen tbh.
  18. Another point on Carson, less eye-catching than that that save but with about 3 mins to go a cross comes in and he's out, off his line, on the edge of his 6 yard box to claim the ball with both hands. It makes some difference not having a goalkeeper rooted to his line.
  19. ^^^^ This. 100% this. They've got what? a minute or two to blandly discuss the game. Like it or not, the main story is/was managerless Hearts/Daly/Levein. The "ghost goal" might have been over the line, it might not. Had Hearts equalised then it might have been discussed, they didn't though. From a Motherwell POV it's annoying, from an editorial point of view it wasn't worth devoting much time to.
  20. Jake hastie scored for airdrie today
  21. Jake hastie scored for airdrie today
  22. Hartlepool interested in Bowman apparently. If you believe a report with no corroborating quotes but still, it wouldn't be a huge surprise tbh. http://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/sport/football/hartlepool-united/hartlepool-line-up-double-swoop-for-sunderland-youngster-and-motherwell-striker-1-8716571
  23. Hastie's assist for Airdrie's first below. Full match via the link further down, he seemed quite involved.
