  1. Various people have thought we should have training gear in C&A. Well that’s exactly what our away kit looks like, especially using claret socks as today against Darlington, so should suit a few people.
  2. Imo this years Home is a considerable improvement on the overly fussy bands on top last year. I actually like the collar which gives a more subtle coverage of the claret on Amber. The horizontal stripes on band are a nice touch and 1886 is also subtle enough. Wouldn't have minded seeing Amber shorts with dark socks (which I like) but maybe white does work with flow of light, lighter, dark from top to socks The Away on the other hand is a good idea badly executed. Far too mmany Amber flashes on both top and shorts with collar being complete mistake. Roma mock ups show what a more classy look could have been. Each to own though as 11 yo son loves away and not fussed on Home!
  3. The announcement background may be clue to the away design. Do like those German tops.
  4. Just had a look at the Hibs away kit. Replace the white with amber and green with claret - add hoop - and you’ve a well kit. In other Macron offerings a Well version of the paint splatter Ross County main kit could be a potential away kit. Claret (or black) replacing blue, keep white, amber for red
  5. Don’t conflate the Nigerian kit pattern with this abomination. If it had been an experiment with an away kit then okay, but based on these pics this looks like cheap teamwear.
  6. Phoned and got my code. Turns out my email address was wrong as well. I’ve since updated all my details, registered the rest of the family, and linked the accounts ready for the 2cup runs! Teething problems but definitely feels like step in right direction. Ticket office staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
  7. Have people received the code for Ticketmaster account? If so by email or post? Thanks
  8. Nearly. Absolutely. to come soon (although Ben and Marv’s sell on probably counts )
  9. Just shows how perceptions can be so different as we thought Hendrie had good game and steadied ship at time when we could have imploded.
  10. I dont think you can judge Steve Clarke based on a bit of a season but he is definitely getting results from a generally poor group of players. Jordan Jones is Don Thomas - the odd trick but no end product. His main role yesterday was to receive out balls humped up the park which was ultimately effective in breaking up Motherwell pressure - credit to Clarkes tactics. If Killie had had Eliot Frear in their side Boyd would have had a hat trick.
  11. Tait for overall defensive and attacking play. But could have picked a few.
  12. We werent well beaten by Partick. It was a couple of individual errors which gave them their lead. I dont think anyone who was there would say we didnt deserve a point never mind potentially win it if it wasnt for the gifted goals. All ifs buts and maybes I appreciate and these small losing margins could get us relegated however I think the margins could just as easily go for us in coming games.
  13. The interview with Tait, Hammel, and Rose suggests the players realise that they havent been playing well enough. Some of Robinsons selections have been questionable but it wasnt his fault Griffiths and McHugh sold goals at Thistle, Hartley vs Accies, midfield vs Dundee. We could/should have had more points from recent games so my take is that its a bad run NOT a situation where manager has run out of ideas and lost the players.
  14. Moult had scored around 38 goals before joining us and Main has scored 26. Other than your poor arithmetic it proves that players might score more when they come to us rather than just follow their previous goals per game rate.
  15. Id echo this. It didnt look like Frear was being at all tentative with his practice runs but a game situation is different so he probably felt he was ready but was unlucky with a sprint/how he planted his leg. Plenty of players suffer hamstring injuries who havent had recent fitness issues. To me he stayed on for nuisance value until it was obvious it wasnt even achieving that.
  16. New keeper - Griffiths out is imagine. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2017/12/16/greek-keeper-xenodochov-signs/
  17. Biggest miss here is Hartley. McHugh far to slow and no help to Kipre or Dunne - and they need it.
  18. Thistle mascot making a better fist at stopping shots straight at him.
  19. Looks like 3-5-1 (Tanner)-1 (Moult) Confident about this one.
  20. Over the piece unlucky to lose this. Great save from their keeper to deny debut goal from DP. Tanner and Bigi made a big difference in creative drive but with both Moult and Bowman poor we needed a bit of luck which we didnt get. Btw. McGinn is the worst kind of cheat - disappointing waste of talent.
  21. What a result. Squad showing again they didnt care about a supposed bogie fixture. Caixinhaha fixture just icing on cake.
  22. Defence as a whole played really well which really nullified any hopes Partick had - Archie tried all the strikers he had. Also good immediate tactical switch with Tait going to right to counteract their change of formation. Great win and good to see multiple scorers again.
  23. His wiki page has been updated already Peter Hartley (born 3 April 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish Premiership club Motherwell on loan from Blackpool.
  24. Andy Bayes Reporter, BBC Radio Lancashire Preston North End are likely to allow Liam Grimshaw and Eoin Doyle to leave. Grimshaw is set to return north of the border to join Motherwell, Doyle is heading for Oldham.
