We are, however, currently working with SFL clubs in all divisions with a view to agreeing an alternative way forward which builds on the five core principles. We would like to confirm our continued commitment to those principles. We are also very keen to share our proposals with the SPL and the SFA as soon as practical. We therefore respectfully wish to ask the SFA to work with us at this time, whilst we progress our proposals.

Good point. to make up for the lack of games have the league cup (Which has no european place anyway) into groups like the champions league.

Not how i read it. To me he is happy at Motherwell and when the time comes for him to move on he wants to see us benefit financially via compensation. I really don't get the McCall digs on here at all. IMHO he has been a great manager for Motherwell and long may it continue. We will always be a selling club and that includes our manager unfortunately our finances and Avg Home crowd dictate that (And always has done in the 30+ years i've supported us)

The fact that he has had his budget cut year on year makes it extremely difficult to replace decent players. Jennings, Clancy and Craigan haven't been replaced and this is one of the reasons we have been leaking goals this season. I think you need to face up to the facts we have NO money to spend on decent players and need to rely on youngsters stepping up to the plate or freebies (Who don't want massive wages) as we found out in the summer when we tried to sign ryan stevenson until hearts found out and offered him significantly more than we could afford. Scottish football in general is poor so it is increasingly difficultt to attract players and the fact we can only offer minimal wages As for calling for McCalls head i think you need to get your head out of cloud cuckoo land. He is doing a decent job with the players he has. yes sometimes he gets it wrong tactically but so does every other manager in the SPL.................. Would you rather go back to having Malpas or McLeish in charge ?
