Hopefully the player are well rested after the international break. And hopeful the hearts players won't be motivated due to late wages / Potential points deduction so i'm going to stick my neck out and go for a 2 - 1 win for The well.
I was going on comments from past games Jay. and was only commenting on post from earlier. and as mfcdez says it was proably edited so the orcs can feel good going into tonights game.
Anyway Lets get in about this lot tonight. Play two up front and have a go.
And to all well fans going tonight sing your heart out and savour a "rare" victory at that horrible place.
3-1 well higdon double and a bullet header from hutch will do me just nicely
Good Point well made. I'm just sick to death of McCall coming out before a game again them or Celtic and basically saying we won't win because they are better than us. But as folk have stated thats probally a steer for the press and what he says in the dressing room is a completely different story........ I like McCall as a manager , i just wish his record again thats lot from Glasgow was a bit better.
Unfortunayely Money talks. Even so called smaller english clubs can offer 2 - 3 time the salary we can.
Ryan Stevenson was one of the player who was payed on time. Think it was mcglynn and 4 senior players who weren't
What about Brian Mclair (First time around) my dad still tells me the story of when he scored a hat trick against Rangers circa 1984 ( I Think)
My favourites were Cooper , O'Neil and Luc Nijholt
What a team we had back then
Edit just looked up wikipedia He left well in 83
Double Edit : Motherwellnet has it as 3rd Jan 1983
Looking for some famous commentator one liners for something i'm working on for Fatcalf ...
So far i have
Hugo Sanchez eat your heart out
And Motherwell have won the cup in the most dramatic fashion possible.
Any others you can think of as my memory aint the greatest when it comes to these things
Motherwell have taken 23-year-old Belgian midfielder Axel Bossekota, previously of Tirlemont, Marck and Oud-Haverlee Louvain, on trial.

We seem to struggle against Killie no idea why.....
As MJC and Jay have said i'd start with McHugh and higdon up front .
Don't see many goals so i'll go for 0-0 or a narrow 1 - 0 win
I was born up there mate moved to Lanarkshire when I was 5. Used to go up every year for holidays as my grandparents and uncle lives up there. My parents moved back up 5 years ago so it's our yearly holiday. Not been in the new weigh inn but used to play pool in the old one when I was on holiday years ago before it got burned to the ground. Ill ask my uncle tomorrow as I think he watched the Llanelli game in the weigh inn as well
gutted im missing the game as i go on holiday on Saturday (Bad planning on the wifes part)
We need to keep a clean sheet at home to have a fighting chance over there.
Heart says yes head says no chance
Anything above 11th and i'll be happy.
this season will be the usual rollercoaster ride that we get every season . Some highs , lots of Lows and a champions league qualifier to boot.
As long as the press are wrong and we stay clear of admin then its all good
