For me 4-4-2 would be the preferred option, with Skippy / Moore and Sutton / Erwin up top, combine this with Ainsworth and Johnson as good old fashioned wingers and we could have a very effective formation.

If the worst happens and we go down then in that scenario I would like to see him back as well but only if the cash was right. Dropping a level might suit him, but if we stay up then not for me, he can't hack it at the top level anymore.

A good point Dave but my main concern from day 1 re the WS was that our fan base is not large enough to make it effective. When you look at Hibs and Hearts etc their fan bases are large enough to get the numbers of people signed up to generate significant revenues etc needed to run clubs effectively. With Motherwell we are at the point where just about everybody who wants to join the WS has done so and it seems they are still struggling to meet targets. Anybody who has not joined by now probably for various reasons never will. I think a club of our size will always need a wealthy owner / backer to keep us going, the fans can play a part in running the club but let's face reality the WS are never going to generate enough revenue to be able to run the club effectively.

Give the feckers the minimum allocation of tickets that we have to under the rules, and forget about the money we need every advantage we can get. This will be Skippy Sunday all over again and seeing their greeting faces when we win and keep them down will be a great end to a shit season. Siwy

As I read it Dave, if the club let season ticket holders into the game on their tickets then the amount of fans actually paying for a ticket or paying at the gate whatever the case may be on the day will be reduced, hence the amount of gate receipts for this game will be reduced so therefore the amount of money due to the SPFL will be reduced. Operating under the current rules, but making a point that they don't agree with them.
