  1. Happy with most of the list. so much dead wood. Only one that surprised me was Mackin, I felt he needed some first team opportunities, his goal record for the 20s is great. Lionel being offered a new deal....hmm. He only seems to turn up when a new deals on the cards. No doubting his ability though. Wee bit surprised at Keith as well, as long as we bring in some more creative midfielders though we have plenty of hard tackling back up in Mchugh/Campbell/Clay.
  2. Hopefully we can squeeze a win. Dundee will probably go on the attack after the last result at fir park. Id probably go with the same team as ICT, Pearson has been horrific since he came back but the partnership with Campbell worked well. Id still rather see McHugh in midfield as hes not a centre back, im not sure Jules is much better though. Tait wont be back this season and we wont change from the 3-5-2 coz Hammys not fit enough to play a marauding left back any more.
  3. I would definatly like to see Bowman, Belic and Blyth shown the door. Louie Laing as well when he comes back from the loan spell. Id keep Lucas, hes shown enough in the county game alone that hes a decent player. I think if we bring moore back(if fit) then we have enough strikers with Mackin there as well. Pearson returning does not excite me one bit. We need another creative midfielder for sure. Been needing that for four seasons or so.

    Belic

Anyone got any idea whats happening with Luka Belic? noticed he was at the calendar event but still no appearences for the first team and only one for the 20s. Injured?
  5. Marv gets my vote. Moult/Skippys workrate aside he was head and shoulders above everyone on the park with his trickery. Special mention to Morgaro Gomis for his excellent range of passing in the second half. Made Lasley/Pearo look like total haddies.
  6. Id keep McManus for one more year. Continue to develop Hall, Laing, Kennedy. I think Stevie Hammell has shown this year this year that he is either injured or on his last legs so I think his times up as much as he is one of the best players I've ever seen at Fir Park. Lasley seems to put in a great performance every time I think he's finished. Maybe one more year for him. In terms of other departures, id like to see us getting shot of Joe Chalmers and Wes Fletcher. Neither has impressed at any stage. Josh Law still has more to offer, he had a great spell before christmas. Craig Samson should be kept on as Ripley will leave. Moore, Thomas and Mackin will be big players next season. I expect Allan Campbell, Brett Long, Luke Watt and Jack McMillan will break through also.
  7. Completely agree. These guys are holding the club back. Cadden/Hall have improved on what we had, I reckon Watt/Thomas and maybe some others would do the same. We couldn't possibly do any worse than the way Hammell/Mcdonald/Mcmanus/Lasley are performing at the minute!
  8. I think a few guys need to be moved on in january, Joe Chalmers, Marvin Johnson and Josh Law just aren't SPL level players in my opinion. We have youth players who are no worse! Namely Luke Watt, Chris Cadden, Ben Hall. The most frustrating thing for me about saturday apart from the dreadful referee was that the team can't pass five yards. Its embarrassing. Inverness gave us an absolute lesson at times. At the moment apart from the fitness/work rate levels, very little has changed in the last two years since our fall of form under mccall. I believe Mcgee can turn this around and get us playing fluent/attacking football but its gonna take time and I think a few more players heading out the exit door than I first thought. We need more options than a batch of workmanlike, hard tackling midfielders who have no idea how to move the ball forward.
  9. First half was abysmal. Shape was all wrong, Moult isolated. Credit to Baraclough second half for finally chopping Skippy and changing things up. Robinson/Johnson and Grimshaw were all impressive off the bench. Jake Taylor looks either completely off the pace or completely out of position. Ill stick with the former.
  10. Still positives signs from yesterday. Aberdeen throw on an extra defender with boring negative football as usual. Moult was motm for me, tireless running, strong and linked play well. The defence is definatly looking harder to beat than last season, Laing has improved. Low points: thats the worse game ive seen Stevie Hammell have in a well shirt. Maybe hes not fit? if he is fit, I see nothing wrong with playing Chalmers ahead of him. Law was poor though I reckon it was an improved showing on the united game. Really wish we had Luke Watt fit though. The boy Taylor looked more than a yard off the pace! Johnson was great one minute then howling the next. That said, I think we will pick up points in the next few games.
  11. Thought Big Ripley was outstanding, hopefully we've solved our keeper problem! Laing was much improved, looked quicker and stronger than last season. Thought Keith had an excellent game as well. Mcdonald/Hammell both looked off the pace to me! Law is never a right back. I didnt think Jack Leitch played too badly though ive never rated him in the past. Hopefully some more midfield additions this week and I cant wait to have Watt/Ainsworth in the starting 11.
  12. An attacking mid is all thats required i think. Stracker looked good on the left and i thought Reid was excellent at CB. A few central midfielders back from injury with thomas/moore in the starting 11 would suit me. We do need someone else to create though. I have no idea what scouts would be interested in Lee Erwin. He has a few nice touches at times but all he does it run into players and give the ball away. Hes also awful in the air.
  13. Twardzik Law Mick O Brien Reid Carswell Lasley Thomas Ainsworth Ojamaa Sutton Reids a bit more reliable than Watt for me..id play hammy though if course. Kerr isnt a right back, its time law got a start in that position. Excited to see young thomas again and i havent seen enough from Erwin yet to suggest he will do any better than big John. P.S. A bit more from Henrik Ojamaa today please! All hes done is run about like a headless chicken and give the ball away in the last few weeks!
  14. well we were pretty poor and that was nervy as f**k! Three points is three points though. The ref was dire for both sides! good to see Erwin coming on, Baraclough wasnt afraid to shake things up when they werent working. I think its time Keith took a backseat though...all he did today was slow moves down everytime. Cant wait to have Hammell back at left back too! Oh and Lionel isnt a left winger!!
  15. Very frustrating draw. Probably didnt deserve a win though. Plus points today i thought Law And O Brien were excellent. Law looks a different player. Ainsworth needs to start every week and by god we need stevie Hammell at left back again.
