Though first half he was fine, second half not so good. I do still think it’s a bit of religion on here to blast refs regardless.

Not sure I would go as far as saying game over but obviously it’s now in Rangers hands and I would not be surprised to see them score a couple more. Regardless positives to be taken from a terrific first half we can take forward into the next game whatever happens second half.

Sadly also missing it myself and yes I would agree we are still fragile at the back, Dunn can’t come back quick enough. Fearing a loss but it’s football and stranger things have happened.

Personally I think you need to be up here to really experience it fully.

I think Gerrard has fallen into the trap of coming out with the “no one likes us” lines a couple of times, but he knows it gets the fans onside. As much as he has no real knowledge of the mentality in the west of Scotland which is totally different to down south he will, no doubt have received advice on how you do things as a manager up here. Other than that he looks to be doing a bloody good job turning them around.

It was a stupid thing to say, other than that people can make of it what they wish. If we get beat on Sunday it won’t have anything to do with what Hartley said though. People still make too much of other factors when it’s 95% down to the quality of a team. Rangers will have a better season because they are now actually a better team than the one we faced at Hampden and that alone makes the challenge for clubs like ours tougher.

Bowman is still out injured. Replace him with Main and Rose for Gorrin, the combination of Gorrin and Bigi against Rangers could backfire big style although I do think he could make an impact as the season progresses.

Rangers look to be really moving forward and have just added another quality player for this level so it’s going to be extremely tough to get anything out of this. Can’t see past a defeat in this one before we start to turn the corner.

I would suggest Johnson is the player we signed that was different and for me has the potential to be a 20 goal a season striker. That gives us him, Main, Bowman, Sammon, and Tanner. To be fair with our budget that’s respectable enough.

I doubt Sammon would start anyway, Main , Johnson the front two from now on. His first challenge on Saturday, the ball is in the air, he takes a quick look at the players and barges into him just before the ball arrives. He does the same thing every bloody challenge.

Hey ho, let’s be honest bar Ayr who are on top form anyway they were all tough draws. As you say winnable if we are on top form but obviously Hearts go into the game heavy favourites.

I worried in advance that the combination of Bigi and Gorrin may be a little lightweight but they actually did well against to be fair a pretty limited side, Cadden is certainly not as creative but pretty much a shoe in when fit. We played a lot more football on the ground yesterday because of that combination but I can see Gorrin being dropped again next game up.

Bigi for me, i’ve not been his biggest fan but today was his best performance for the club.

In my opinion the booing was because Johnson was taken off, he’s going to be a fan favourite very quickly.

Johnson is going to be our top scorer for at least the next couple of seasons unless he gets another move, the guys a natural goalscorer. Think we have unearthed another potential gem

Lots of positives from today. Bigi and Gorrin both show potential and Johnson is going to score a stack of goals for us when fully up to speed. Very good first half with plenty of passing football, their keeper kept them in the game. Second half we sat too deep and let them back in it although even then Carson had little to do. But that pitch is an absolute abomination and should be replaced immediately.
