  1. I think Sean Goss made a promising debut in the Dundee game. I would like to see him in the starting eleven on saturday!
  2. So if this is the first time we have a starter for Scotland (and two in the squad) for a championship, it must be a massive achievement for the club!
  3. When was last time a Motherwell player played for Scotland in a World or European Championship? And when was last time two Motherwell players was included for the Scotland squad in a World or European Championship?
  4. Looks like a good afternoon: 1) Secured 7th place (£££) 2) Beating rival club comfortably 3) Game time for some youth players (or If we are lucky, future stars!) 4) Resting many players for cup final 5) No injuries 6) Winning is always a confidence booster
  5. Easy to go with Main. He was terrific! But Kipré did not put a foot wrong today (literally, I have watched the game twice).
  6. Great effort and tremendous result. What a team! Everyone worked their socks off. Must be a nightmare for defenders to play against Main and Bowman. Lucky me the match was on Swedish TV. Recorded the match and just watching it again.
  7. Dunne at left wingback and McHugh as part of a back three?
  8. Yepp! (My wallpaper!)https://klocksnack.se/attachments/motherwell-vs-man-u-jpg.720318/ (How do you upload a pic?) Great piece of business signing Big Pete. Fu**ing fab video as well . Even on Utds officiall site: http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Features/2018/Jan/Motherwell-FC-publish-parody-version-of-Alexis-Sanchez-announcement-video.aspx
  9. As a swede I'm familiar with Östersunds (Yes it's an Ö, not an O) succes story. They actually went from the fourth divison to the first divison in five years. They have played in the Swedish first tier for two years. I have watched them (on TV) on a few occasions, and when playing Bilbao at home they were completely bullying the spanish side (which strangly ended in a 2-2 draw.). The cold weather and the artifical grass was probably an advantage for Östersund. You are right on spot with them based in the middle of nowhere. Will be fun to watch when they meet Arsenal in a very, very cold Sweden in february...
  10. 3-5-2? Grimshaw and Tait Wingbacks? Think we will miss Carson alot (with Hartley he is the signing this season that has impressed me most). How long is he out?
  11. Also interested in what formation we play. Could be a 4-3-1-2 formation as well?
  12. Given the recent run, not to upset over the loss. We are still heading for a great season. Can anyone tell me what formation we played after half time, and after DP came on?
  13. Yes!!! Quite a goalscorer, Hartley. 3 in 6 games (?)!
  14. Great three points. 10 points to the bottom two, and an upcoming cup semi final. Could be a fun season,
  15. Yes, could be. If my memory serves me right it was a cup game.
  16. Damn, i did not realized it was that long (12 yearsI Fuck!) I had seen the team live. Thanks for all offers. I also was in Scotland in 2003? and was hoping for a league cup venue, but I remember we lost to some third division team (Forfar?) on penalties, which actually spoiled my plans to catch my first Motherwell match. But I was visiting Fir Park shop at least...
  17. Thanks! But a League cup final sure will be enough temping!
  18. Well, sometimes in the early nineties the Swedish Televison broadcasted a live game between Celtic and Motherwell (as there was no english match to broadcast this saturday, a swedish tradition), think Tommy Coyne scoreded in a 1-0 win! As I'm a sucker for underdogs and that Motherwell has that amazing club coulors, I fell for that combination, As the computer game now known as Football Manager, was very popular I always picked Motherwell to be my team and from that my support growned. And with the breakthrough of the internet my interestest in the team raised, now it was easier to get hold of team selection and scores. My first (and sadly only) live game was vs Kilmarnock in 2005 (Paul Quinn getting the only goal home at Fir Park).
