  1. I felt the same about Hastie. He had a purple patch for us, but before that period of time he'd been pretty unremarkable from what I'd seen. He didn't seem that prolific at Airdrie or Alloa, so I didn't really see him making much of an impression with us.

If you watched him in the irn bru cup that season you could tell he had something about him.

  2. We would need to sign a handsome bastard as a replacement. Over the years we've always had one. Simon Ramsden, John Sutton, John Sutton again. If Sloth goes I just don't see anyone in our current squad able to fill that role.

    Not to forget Keith lasley

  3. I think using Seedorf as the scapegoat is ignoring the garbage from every single player before and after he entered the game.

I wasn’t using seedorf as a scapegoat the whole team was terrible TODAY but seedorf is just horrendous canny do anything right.Hes verging on being one of the worst Motherwell players of all time

  4. For the reserves the last few weeks he’s been a striker but only when the first team lads aren’t playing. Usually a winger. So brings some versatility to our front line.

Do you go to most of the reserve games?do you think Cornelius or anyone is ready to come through the first team?

  5. Today's BBC gossip

Livingston are keen to hold pre-contract talks with Motherwell's Trevor Carson in January, with the 31-year-old Northern Ireland goalkeeper out of contract in the summer and also attracting interest from Aberdeen, but current Fir Park number one Mark Gillespie is also out of contract and is stalling over a new deal. (Daily Record)

You’d think Carson could get a better offer than livi even with his illness he had

  6. It’s quite simple to fix next game. Cut the allocation and border off the whole front section of the 2nd tier. Anybody tries to stick a flag over the board it’ll be easily removed and won’t put stewards or police at risk with the crowd further back.

Oh yes let’s reduce our income even further

  7. No confirmation yet if the other party said "shut it Robbo, or I'll get my pal Ainsworth to sort you out again".

What actually happened between robbo and ainsworth?

  8. Are you still going on? Less of the mate too.
You’re making things up now. For the record, there is no flares (of the pyrotechnic variety) in that photograph & that event was  in an area of Motherwell far away from the ground & long after the match had finished.
Club official approved the banner in advance & it was created on the Thursday prior to the match. Information is same employee refused its entry upon arrival at ground. It’s now for both parties to find a common ground... easier said than done.

    Sorry mate

  9. Because it wasn’t? Your ideal isn’t helping - maybe tapping into a subject you know little about?
Certainly no pyro recovered and as the statement says refused on the grounds the banner was ‘too big’. The same matter taken up by our CEO who tried to pacify the situation.

No mate there was no pyro at all.Do you not think the flag was too big as it would cover everyone and they would have no ideas as to who let off the flares. As they have let bigger flags in before
