Wouldn't touch that personally. Transfer fees are a huge part of our ongoing business model.

Also sounds an awful lot like the bid that was discussed quite a few years ago, which was mentioned on Wednesday.

To me, this seems like a sound idea...but only dependant on how large a return they would command from any players sales.

It certainly does, and it’s happened to us a good few times this season with loan deals. Two recalled half way through their ‘season long deals’ another one cancelled and then re-loaned and now this one. Regardless of the reasons behind all of the above it doesn’t put our transfer business and in particular our loan deals this season in a good light at all.

Only if you love being dramatic and constantly want to find faults?

Spencer and Biereth being recalled can be spun in a positive sense...they've come up here done well and their parent club wants them back to further their own wishes for the player.

Absolutely nobody in the footballing world will reconsider sending us a player because a young guy fae Sheffield wanted back down the road for personal reasons

Jili Buyabu has returned to his parent club for “personal reasons”.

What the actual fuck is going on with our club and recruitment strategy?? This season alone we have our best player suddenly recalled in January then sent elsewhere on loan, we loan in Oli Shaw, cancel his loan then re-loan him and now this boy’s loan is cancelled less than a month in.

    Absolute clusterfuck.

Give yersel peace...we have no idea why the young guy wants back home...could be any number of things and nothing to do with the Club.

Arsenal recalled THEIR player and stuck him out to a bigger club...shit happens

Now you know that's not true, cause by your own admission you didn't buy one during COVID, so tell the truth sir, I've had good info that you have been watching Juniors rather than the 'Well. You can't be on the committee of your local junior team but abandon them on a Saturday for the Mighty. As I said, all negative comments!!!!.. Nice that you replied though, positive comments from now on only please.

Ah yes, apologies, I didn't buy one in the covid season...but that apart I have. I've committed to going to Bellshill games for the remainder of the season despite my season ticket at Firry...and thus far it has lead to me missing 3 home matches...not been to any away matches at all this season.

Not strange GazzyB, here is a guy who is a once in a wee while attender due to his love of his local junior team, whose every post is a total negative against either the club, manager or players. If he only posted a positive note now and again it would be good. He was a pish player right enough ;):D

A fully paid up season ticket holder for the past 17seasons, that's missed 3 home matches this season...cannae argue with the pish player part, but it's been over 2 decades since I kicked a ball, so unsure of the relevance of that.

I thought the atmosphere at the match was quite good today but it's a little disappointing that there was less than 4,000 Motherwell fans at home in a Scottish Cup tie against Aberdeen.

I don't think all ticket affairs, make it easy for us to be honest

Well done David, answer like a politician, forget about the shite points you make about players you have seen for 45 minutes. No wonder yir first team(Bellshill) went from promotion to relegation in a couple of weeks. As I said wouldn't know a player if yi slept wi one. Yir so full if hot air perhaps we should go back to the big tent instead of undersoil heating, you would save the club a fortune. Give players a chance!!!!, as I said you were pish!!!!!!.

Yes the right, the anonymity of guys like you who don't go to games now, but seem to think your options count. Never seen a positive post yet, your so opinionated on players just in the door. Just remember the level you played at.

I was at the game yesterday...as I said, gie me a shout next time you see me at Fir Park.

You stick to getting Bellshill relegated, 45 mins on TV and he's poor, gies a break, the guy showed pace and was not adverse to having a shot at goal. As for Tierney a wee mini Mauchline, but as you say wouldn't get a game at The new Hill:lol:

Ahh the anonymity of fans messageboards eh? I cannae be arsed picking you up on the errors in your post above, but next time you're at Fir Park and see me, then gie me a shout.

Try Shields or Effords up top for more mobility. revert back to 4-3-3 or go 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. Although I’m not sure who is all available. I’d also give Amaluzer another try. I don’t think he’s been given as much of a chance as the likes of woolery

I don't think Efford is going to be up to it...harsh to say, given I've only seem 45mins of him, and against Celtic too, but I'm not hanging my hopes on him. The wee Irish lad as well, he literally looks and plays like a wee boy.

Why, as I said earlier if he's on the bench he should be fit to play, and given the news today that he's off on loan to QOS I assume that he is fit to play so not so much of a leap more of a tiny hop.

There are a multitude of reasons why a young guy, making his way back from injury would be fit enough for the bench but not to start...we both know that

    Brown lived in Troon.

McGhee, McCall and Robinson all lived outside Scotland. Robinson eventually moved to Scotland for personal reasons. Not sure about Barraclough. Malpas commuted from Dundee.

    Thought McCall stayed in Strathaven

I know this is a fairly common view point, but why?

Developing players for Celtic gives me the dry boak at the best of times, nevermind when there is next to no financial reward.

He will be unavailable to play against said club.

I often doubt the commitment of players that play in the same league.

Will he stunt the development of Cornelius?

I dont think it's fair on the player himself...look at the treatment of Gilmour at Norwich, the fall guy of the fans
