  7. Heard from a very good source that Mark has in no way lost the confidence of the players, they are all up for the fight and know they can turn things round.
  8. Mark McGhee had strong words about himself and his team as he admitted Motherwell are mired in a relegation battle after a 2-0 defeat by Hamilton. The Steelmen have now endured five straight defeats and taken just one point from their past 21. McGhee said: "We're bottom of the league - as we stand tonight, we're the worst team in the league and I'm the worst manager."

    Mark McGhee

Football is a results driven business it doesn't matter what you have done in the past or what you say you will do in the future its the here and now that count .On current form McGhee is under pressure for the first time at Firpark.

The guy took all the plaudits last year at this time when all was going so well. Whats the current view among well fans now though. Remember Malpass took pelters for serving up this type of crap that we have seen tonight.
  11. 2-0 that will be that then .
  12. commentator says its now 9 hours since we have scored a goal from open play.
  13. Defending is absolute joke ,guy had a free header.
  14. Certainly talks a good game. Motherwell set to hit form, says McGhee Published Date: 13 December 2008 MOTHERWELL manager Mark McGhee feels his team are "bubbling under the surface" ahead of the visit of Kilmarnock on Monday night. The Steelmen have picked up just one point in five Clydesdale Bank Premier League games but McGhee expects them to hit form any time soon. That point came in a goalless draw against Rangers at Fir Park when the home side had the majority of possession. Well followed that with a poor display in a 4-1 home defeat by Hibs, but McGhee was encouraged by their determination during the subsequent 2-0 loss at Aberdeen. And he believes they will be cooking with gas if they get the ingredients right against the Ayrshire side. "I feel we are bubbling under the surface," McGhee said. "I'm looking for three points. I'm looking for an improved performance from the Aberdeen game, which was workmanlike. "I'm looking for a fusion between the brilliant football we played against Rangers and the hard work we put in against Aberdeen. "Somewhere in the middle ground I think will be good enough to get us something against Kilmarnock."
