It's probably something that's inherent in football culture in this country where if someone doesn't run about enough they are deemed to be unfit/lazy/disinterested. There's something about players that have the ability but look like they're not breaking sweat that I love watching. Obviously different standard but Berbatov is one of my favourite players ever and he rarely looked like he gave a toss, but still played the game like it was the easiest thing in the world.

The difference is that the one guy was standing completely by himself in a half empty section of seats holding the smoke bomb above his head, while there were a large group of fans who were grouped together, presumably having dropped the smoke bombs at their feet. Not uneven policing/stewarding, just absolute fucking stupidity from the guy in our support.

We were absolute jobby in the first half, and a bit better in the second. Still, I had many pre game beers, a barbecue and even got a good, old-fashioned t shirt tan.

Aye that emergency loan was at a time the whole team, and particularly Lionel Ainsworth, were absolutely flying. When he signed permanently he was not great.

Twardzik was on emergency loan at a time where the rest of the time were absolutely unstoppable so views on him were probably kind of fudged. When he signed permanently he was nae good.

Craig Samson was absolutely horse shit. Coupled with having a defence including Zak Jules and Joe Chalmers it's no wonder we got pumped rotten at times.

How Morelos is up for this beggars belief. He scored a fair few earlier in the season, but the number of high profile sitters he has missed and his general work ethic is woeful. Tierney will win it again even though he's been nowhere near as good as last year.

Jamie Vardy played the whole title winning season with a broken wrist. I would imagine big Curtis will be available sooner rather than later.

Did we not spend the last 5 games resting everyone in the run up to the final in 2011 before turning up on the day and completely shitting the bed? Bollocks to that. I'd like to see us go out to put as many points on the board as possible. By all means look to bring on a couple of the younger boys off the bench, but lets not do anything silly.

I would prefer us to win it by pure shitehousing so I could then spend the next week bathing in the seethe.

My only disappointment is that I haven't got to see Reynolds attempt to deal with Curtis Main.

I'd question why he looks like he's blowing out his arsehole after about 6 minutes of being on the park.

I would be happy with that team. Frear probably should start as they're without Shay Logan, and Dom Ball's a bit humpty so we'd be as well to try and exploit that.

It'll be 3-5-2 with Rose, Campbell and Cadden/Bigi. If Bigi starts Frear will be on the bench. I'm also backing big box office Nadir to start here.

I would guess that he's probably just a rotation player and we'll be looking to jettison Bowman, Demi and obviously nobody knows what's happening with Ciftci.

Brodge is the neediest man in the world. Don't think I've ever seen anyone so desperate for attention.

Andy Rose - I reckon he'll end up back in the states. Liam Grimshaw - Get rid. Unless he's willing to stick around as a social media hype man. Ryan Bowman - Get rid. Apart from that wee purple patch alongside Moult around the QF of the league cup, he's humpty. Deimantas Petravicius - I reckon he won a competition to get a contract with us. Get rid. Charles Dunne - Keep him. He's improved massively since we've settled in to a back 3. Russell Griffiths - Would imagine he'll be gone. Ellis Plummer - Forgot he was here tbh. Shea Gordon - I mind him getting some games last year but he's kind of vanished since. George Newell - Robinson seems to like him. Maybe he'll be better if he does a proper pre-season as he looks like he's blowing out his arse after 10 minutes. Luke Watt - Get rid. He was promising 3 years ago, and hasn't done much since. Loan deals ending: Stephen Hendrie (Southend). - Jersey filler. He'll be gone. Nadir Ciftci (Celtic) I would keep him, but he'd need to agree to a substantial wage cut and we would need to negotiate a fee/release from Celtic. Tom Aldred (Bury) I would love to keep him here. He's been outstanding.

Never thought I'd be thinking Willie Collum would be great.

Even without the sublime volley, McHugh was the best player on the park today. He absolutely bossed the midfield there.
