The only positive tonight has been Vale
-
Unfortunately Paul McGinn has had his worst game in a Well shirt tonight and when you know hes having a bad game then the rest aren't going to be anywhere near it
-
Nicholson and Halliday onnfor Paton and Miller should be the next change

I see the usual suspects are missing. They must be absolutely raging they can't come on and rant like usual.
To be fair, a certain someone spontaneously combusted when Halliday scored tonight

Turnbull signs for Cardiff City for a reported £2 million. What do we get?
A full back on loan from Cardiff

It is about ambition and speculating. A proven goal scorer for a few grand extra that we could make back by place in table and cup run. Have also money from players we sold wilkinon and Turnbull.
What if he gets injured in his first training session? (I realise this can happen with any signing but if you're paying that much a week its a massive gamble)
Also how do the other players feel knowing the big mental Dutch guy in the corner is on 3 times more than them and he looks half arsed half the time

Why does this ref hate us so much?
No idea why anyone would have an irrational hatred of anyone in claret and amber

Halliday passing the ball straight out the park then shouting at Mugabi. Wanker.
Yeah because that was in absolutely no way anything to do with big Bevis not reading the obvious pass which Halliday was signalling

Exactly. No one will remember his missed penalty
Blair Spittal will remember his missed penalty judging by his reaction after scoring the free kick.
Looked genuinely gutted that he didn't get the hattrick.

It would have been Gent until his lapse for the equaliser.
In fact it may still be Gent as he showed how much he has improved defensively since coming in to the side (apart from said error, which was probably due to tiredness)
Feck it Gent it is

Dessers pulling back Biereth… that’s a fkn penalty
Can someone explain what the difference with that and the penalty Celtic got at Parkhead was?

the kettles gone! you can see it in his face. Shame, but it is a results business, and that formation with no proper midfield and a goalkeeper in awful form....
Yip, the wee hug with O'Donnell looked very much like a man who knows hes a goner

Unfortunately tonight I have reached the point where I know its over for a Motherwell manager - when you want the opposition to score more to speed up the departure

Johnston was never ever going to reach that

Taylor should have been off there.
If that had been Butcher on Kyogo the ref would have shown the red card without even waiting on VAR

I see a lot of criticism of Bair. He isn't good enough I agree but at least he seems to be doing something. He is trying to link up play and chasing lost causes. Does it make up for his other deficiencies? No....
But can someone please explain what Shaw actually does? Or what it appears he is trying to do? I can see what Bair is trying to do. He's not good enough to do it but still... If Shaw is playing to the manager's instructions, then I have no idea what those instructions are...
Noticed when he came off he was totally ignored by Kettlewell who is normally over with a hand shake.
That may tell the story of whether or not he was following the managers instructions.

When the chance fell to Shaw I thought he was offside, linesman didn’t flag possibly because the keeper collected it? Anyone else?
Yeah said this at the time, if it had went in I was convinced it would have been disallowed by VAR

Kettlewell giving Bair a 2-year deal is really going to come back and bite him and us. The guy is, unfortunately, utter garbage at every aspect of the game. He has zero redeeming qualities or ability. It’s the most ridiculous decision imaginable to have offered a known dud anything longer than a short-term deal. Thank fuck for our midfielders being pretty decent because we have zero proven or fit strikers.
In fairness he started off the move for the winning goal with a lovely pass out wide.
His hold up play definitely improved in the 2nd half too. Not saying he's the answer to all our problems but there's something to work with and I think Kettlewell has shown enough in his time in charge to earn our backing

Facebook post - "One out....one in"
I'm presuming the player out is Barry Maguire. Kettlewell said today that Maguire leaving should allow us to get one over the line which would be Spencer
