  1. Tomorrow: Andy Devlin says Gannon has the job
  2. and now our official confirms it clicky talks to start next week
  3. Time for the club and the agent to step up the media machine and hopefully encourage other bidders I'll be gutted to see him go, but if he is moving get the best deal for him be it cash up front, international call ups or sell on clauses. Clarky should always be here, just like I felt Phil should've always been here I can still dream of Faddy & Clarky pairing up for the 'Well in the future

    So It Begins...

Gates were open next to the Chapman building so wandered in to have a look this afternoon (Bill Dickie was on security at the gates but he was on the mobile, so a workman like nod got me past him ) Pitch is looking good already, early signs of a good covering of grass from the first sow and although there is still quite a slope from East down to the Phil O'D, the surface is eh? well? Flat! Kinda hard to describe definately not level, but smooth and on only one plane Anyway they sent the heavy mob out to evict me he seemed in good form as well as the pitch
  5. nothing new or have you not noticed we've been that way for some time now, expect a loan or youth to be along sometime soon and anyway what's the worry Melly is still here So we have got one , expect one to get signed and our very promising youths to step up Hows the defence dodgey, we've only lost McLean (only played 12 times) and we've got the Lads Hutchison and Saunders who both looked solid when they appeared last year Again not lost anybody yet and even if Clarky goes Sutton was also in the top ten scorers last season, in fact had a better return than Clarky, also some youth available, so hardly Nil strikers. Do you really believe we'll have no manager? Don't think you're cut out for being a 'Well fan if you need something else from it that means there is currently no point. Hopefully a small sherry will calm you down tonight and you'll be up buying a ticket tomorrow EDIT: Weeyin, you should defo get a warning for that attempt at a nemo joke
  6. We're told St Mirren have millions in the bank and are/have already signed players but Aye Doon ye go Killie
  7. See ya Or would you not be better just waiting and seeing what really happens, SEVEN WEEKS before the season starts don't you know, a lot can happen in Scottish football before then.
  8. Quinn has not, read it again Unlike Quinn, he(reynolds) has two years left on his contract
  9. I'm bored is it MonDaWell thats likes all things Asian, would she do? Read all about mastermind box art here
  10. But one thing is guaranteed if the club manages this correctly is that in SEVEN weeks we'll still be on at least the same points as everyone else, so much more could have changed in that time, Hell clubs could even be ten points behind us Most likely we'll have a new manager and a few new signings as well as a few highly successful youngsters to cheer on every week.
  11. exactly a whole lot of ifs and buts, so no firm statement to be made the club might have decided to try and sell on one player if the price is right or as you suggest their might be a wholesale clearout, why would that be? and what would advertising it really bring about, probably reduce offers as other clubs definately know we grasping for cash. The club has been quite professional so far, as such everything is rumour, so if something thats happening doesn't go through there is no egg on the face, players involved should not get labelled whoremeisters as McGhee did for publicly stating his plans Whatever will be, will be, we'll just have to wait and see
  12. Because until it actually happens, then it might not happen I'm quite happy only to read about actual confirmed transfers, too often specualtion comes to nothing ( not necessarily in this case) and surely from your marketing background you realise its not a good idea to advertise that as a business some of the key attractions are in danger of being sold off, at a time when the business is trying to sell tickets for the up and coming season
  13. Expect Cardiff to lifting the phone to enquire about Reynolds as well, having just sold Johnson to big Eck for £5million after buying him for £275k
  14. The club made noises that lessons from the Nancy ticket sales were to be learned: wouldn't it be a really good idea for the club (thats you 'Flow ) to put up a copy of the form that needs filled in. it could be printed off and filled in before people go up to the club to buy tickets. That would surely save a few minutes per transaction for Home and/or Away tickets
  15. Scarlets site Scarlets can you provide the post code of the ground for folks with sat-nav, and an address for us old fashioned folks the address on the website appears to be in a shopping centre
  16. But if we are being forced to re-finance the club through a sale or two, due to the impact of losing TV money, we may very well have administration forced on a few other clubs to save us Can only imagine P&B going into meltdown if that happened
  17. Nice What was all the fuss about
  18. Couldn't find the right picture but
  19. Sorry for quoting myself (please don't give me a warning wellfan1984) Later in the regulations it sates : Category 1 stadiums must provide a grandstand with 200 seats (Stebo passes this) Category 2 &3 must provide a grandstand with 3000 seats (Stebo disnae) Now I'm no Columbo but by deduction does that not mean Stebo must be a category 1 stadium and thus can host matches in front of standing spectators?? Now for the bucket of water, does Stebo have terracing? and a local council certificate for terracing??
  20. I take it that's just hear'say and may not be accurate in the slightest, the issue regarding seating may have to have been submitted prior to the UEFA certificate I've just found some UEFA guidelines and indeed there is a line staing temporay seating is prohibited and a definition of temporary as seating which, by virtue of its material, design and construction, is clearly intended for use for a very limited period. but these very same guideline also indicate that a stadium category 1 can host matches in front of standing spectators? now we just have to find out if stebonheath is category 1,2,3 or Elite?? QOS and Gretna played at other grounds not because of seating restrictions, but because they didn't have a UEFA certificates at all and would have had to carry out major works to comply dugouts/changing rooms/female officials rooms/pitch sizing etc etc etc I'd hope some additional capacity is able to be found from somewhere, and can't really bring myself to criticise Llanelli for making choices to suit themselves, that would make me too much like and old firm fan PS just for the record have we still got some tractor seats in the Phil stand? made of an unbreakable and non-fl ammable material and have a backrest of a minimum height of 30 cm when measured from the seat
  21. What he said ^^^, how many tickets can a season ticket holder buy for the home leg??
  22. Would an away/change kit not be required to enter the Europa cup?? Not many teams that we clash with, but thought it would be requirement to have a change strip.
  23. Football isn't rational to the supporters, it's emotional and if there is one name that gets the Motherwell supports emotions raging it's Colin Calderwood. Season tickets in the post back to Mr Boyle if thats who he appoints. Edit: I'm sure Mr T will give you his own reply
