    Clarky - 250 Up!

I wish we had another 10 who played with the same drive and could deliver the same results from such a tremendous workrate when they get on the pitch I've never met him or his kin so I can't really comment on his passion for the club or indeed the team, but it looks like he plays with passion and responsibility all I think is we would be a lot worse off without his contribution over those 250 appearances than we are with him. Thanks Clarky, Keep on fighting. PS, I can dream of Clarky still being here when Faddy comes back to sign off
  2. It would take a points deduction to relegate us it just can't happen with any combination of results For Falkirk to pass us they have to win all 4 or win 3 draw 1 which means all the others have to lose at least one to them that leaves the others who can catch us from 34 but since Falkirk have beat them once then both of them can't catch us Understand? EDIT: and like tweed a dissapointment for me today was patching up the side with out of position players instead of developing a couple of youth players, might not have changed the result but would have benefitted the club future much more than playing Las at rightback? as well as that players who will not be here next year getting squad slots over those that will be here, but maybe the boss is still looking at league position
  3. Yeah its all over 2-1 4 bookings?! but it's all meaningless seemingly so there will be no jizz fest over the loss this evening
  4. Nalty and some hope Get in there, Clarky with a scuffed penalty by Craggs description 2-1 a draw would be decent now from this
  5. Ah bollox again Corner header goal against tam scobie as well
  6. Eh?! you're not too bothered, are you happy to finish 8th or 9th so the other teams can stay up? don't understand that myself, as much as I'd have a preference over who goes down i'd always be bothered by our results first
  7. Ah bollocks, is this the bad run continuing can only hope Killie get relegated now
  8. So how we lining up anyone got info Is it -------------Smith Lasley McLean Reynolds Hammell -------Klimpl Hughes Fizzy McGarry--------------------Clarkson ---------------Sutton Or is the Klump in defence with Captain Las in midfield? or 3 at the back?? who'd have thought there would be anything interesting to discuss Does this mean Coach is on his way
  9. this and an apology for breaking the sponsorship contract by not delivering the POTY end of season dinner then a discussion on the alternative or compensation (reduced rates next season etc) would have sufficed Whats follows might not be smoke and mirrors to you but it sure as hell seems to be to me. I'm most dissapointed that running a football club you think this is an acceptable yarn. It is essentially what happens at the end of every season, is it not? that players go on holiday and that they do indeed need strips for the last game. It also seems a tad insensitive that the fact we are getting a new strip is being used as leverage since that is also becoming an annual event. So despite the fact that everyone knew the season was to end on the weekend of the 23/24th and that the club had taken in sponsorship money based in part, on hosting the presentation evening, no venue booking had been made and the club expected to arrange such and event in less than 4-5weeks ? acceptable thoughts for you to have, and quite possibly you would have received majority backing for this plan, if you had discussed this with the sponsors prior to dissapointing them and then feeding them a bunch of excuses/reasons that are all based on the fact that football business got in the way, but let's not forget sponsors entered into a contract at the start of the season for this to happen at the end of the season and the excuses given just don't stack up when the business is running a football club. Asking for views after the decision has been made on not hosting the event is what pains the most, I collated money on behalf of a group of fans, they all contributed based on a promise by me to deliver at the end of the season and I had looked forward to delivering on my promise based on the contract I entered in to with the club. add 1 person to that list who does not understand and will probably collect Iain Manders. PS who is going to present all the strips of players that leave at the end of this season
  10. Cheers Andy I paypalled a donation (done it all lower case letters like your first post, dunno if it matters ) Well done again
  11. Sounds like another good night that I've missed out on, thats a great amount to have raised from one night very well done to all who helped organise, manage and take part on the night that made it so. Is there a paypal link still active to add a little to the funds?
  12. well for me there is good news, and unclear news that's most probably bad news. Good news that a letter from MFC has finally arrived at my address, so as a named contact for a group sponsoring the club they can contact me, but can't manage it for two season tickets Unclear news, that although sponsors will receive the strips, because 'the boys' will be using the kit right up until 23rd May a formal presentation is unfeasible this end of season. as such the strips can be collected from the club or they can be held at the club prior to a more formal presentation in the early part of next season. Now I'm more of a say it as it is sort of person, and although thankful that the club has issued the information (wonder what prompted them to?) my first thought is that its loaded with spin which I thought as a club we were moving away from under L.D's guidance I wonder if the club would like to 'say it as it is'
  13. 98/99 7th, 99/00 4th, 00/01 8th (12 teams + split) 01/02 11th 02/03 12th, 03/04 6th, 04/05 6th, 05/06 8th, 06/07 10th, 07/08 3rd, 08/09 7-9? Average not including this season 7.5 so will probably be an average finish of 7th including this season when its decided. wonder where we would be now if the Administration rules had been in force back then? (edit just realised we'd be in the same place )
  14. anybody making a last minute dash across to Fir Park for the U19's last game? 12:00 KO v Hibs Phil O'Donnell stand £2 entry, proceeds to the youth development fund
  15. the signs might still say that (outdated why restrict acces to the empty more central premium seats?), they did when they first seated the east, but what about the bigger picture? the other TWO stands 'Well fans are in the rest of the East stand where many season tickets are currently held (notice the stickers!) back row seems popular
  16. the good old I'm alright Jack attitude I've paid my money who cares about the others not a personal dig hat man plenty with your views, but a reminder that there are also a number of non-season ticket holders looking to enjoy a matchday experience at Fir park. and from many years personal experience I can tell you that it makes for a shit start to the experience if you are repeatedly asked to 'move cause thats my seat' How is the PATG punter meant to know its a season ticket seat that they are trying to settle into? sometimes with family or a group. and what if the season ticket punter is running a little late and the discussion takes place standing in the middle of a section obstructing other fans view of the game. a good policy was put in place for Saturdays game. iIt shouldn't have offended season ticket holders and it should have helped PATG punters pick out vacant seats without having to then be shifted to another area. It was temporary, but I would hope the club are going for something more permanent that can be updated season to season when seats are occupied/vacated. I've said it before, If I can save the club money by removing the current plates to prepare for replacements I'll do it myself and trust others would also help out. Hell I'd also install the replacements although I might struggle to keep up with demand
  17. Was referring to this thread as getting the news out to a shrinking section of the support as opposed to the t'internet as a whole. and as I said good effort with it but lets face it there is hell of a lot of MFC's community that aren't around here or FPC anymore, all the better for the improved 'Fishel site Nah mate not even as spam or the likes, received everyone of the previous newsmails (EDIT: that I know about ) and the mail from the hospitality dep't was received Good to hear you had that base covered and assume if you feel certain groups never received it'll you look into it as always. Now just need to find out why Royal mails finest is hoarding all my letters from MFC
  18. Would have thought the club might have tried to get our last game away from home to give an extra weeks headstart on a lot of the work thats going to be carried out at the Ark. Suspect the contracts are signed but any tight schedules I've been working on before if somebody offered an early start we'd have jumped at it. as it is the fixtures announced really don't help lift the gloom any ICT midweek is out although I'd like to be there to see them get relegated Been to see St.Midden away twice already this season and I'm still in counselling after the trip to Accies on December 20th. So probably only take in the game at Grangemouth and the last game at the Ark. might be persuaded to attend new Douglas park but somebody mentioned we'll take a good crowd there? didn't last time, whilst our part of it was not bad I had honestly expected our end to be near sold out when they gained promotion but was one of the smallest crowds I've ever been a part of in the SPHell
  19. You defending the clubs mail distribution system? or just saying no one should criticise when things don't happen that the CLUB say will happen? I still haven't received the letter, but then I still haven't received Mr Boyles last letter would that be Royal Mails fault? or coincidence? or a breakdown in the system? Good effort by the club for getting news out online to a small ( getting smaller?) section of the support. Surprised & a little dissapointed they didn't utilise the Motherwell news email address database But really, really dissapointed that the promised letters still only arrive at selected addresses. it's not like the club don't have my address its been recored at least a eight times this season alone.
  20. you take that from the BBC interview PJ? I only hope if this is his stance, that he actually sticks by it this time instead of folding like he did when Malcolm ignored his deadline to sign on in time
  21. they're teasing us just like the snippets of the new strips
  22. Brazilian
