  1. what an attacking performance! Could have been much more. Defence was solid second half. Well done to all players and management.
  2. we really should be 5 or 6 up. Tho, it would be nice if we could stop gifting them the center of the pitch to run at our defence.
  3. By all account that's what Kettlewell either said or hinted at. No way was he signed as our main striker.
  4. What is his job tho? Does he just identify targets or does he negotiate? Maybe it's the bean counter Weir that's fecked us by penny pinching.
  5. I know we've obviously tried to sign another striker, but the club has let strikers go before replacements were in the door. This is very poor. We needed options up front for these next two crucial home games. To think of all the special players we have had up front in the past to be going into the remaining games with a project player, an untried player and a player who is always injured is shocking. Scunnered to say the least.
  6. So it's the free market for us now....
  7. See hibs have signed a young striker from Sunderland. You've got to wonder. It ain't happening is it??
  8. I get that, but what's the point of freeing up wages, to not use it to at least bring in fewer players who are better quality. Our squad is the smallest in league, surely there's money available. We need players who can play upfront. Scoring goals win you games, especially when we need to outscore our opponents given how bad our defence is at stopping goals.
  9. High time financial fair play was implemented in Scotland.
  10. Killie and St Mirren are blowing us out of the water financially apparently. We've released God knows how many players, have the smallest squad and paying our main striker to date Peanuts. Is our CEO penny pinching and risking a relegation on balancing a budget sheet? Fans are already disinterested and falling away. The club needs a boost of some sorts, not another boot in the Nether regions.
  11. Hope someone is keeping track of all the player outs. Seems madness that our team rebuilds are every window now.
  12. I would have been shocked if the manager had said anything harsh to Gent. Other players in the heat of the moment, not so sure.
  13. Agree I thought Gent was one of our better players. Looked like Spittal. The manager said words were said to Gent after the game. Hopefully it was constructive and not destructive.
  14. said it in the livingston game thread about shaw being kicked in the head. Is anyone really suprised at the lack of consistancy?
  15. Some of our best players in the past started through being chucked into the lions den at a young age. It goes back to when will it ever be the right time, especially in this league. Looking at the end of the game seasoned pros have a cheek having a go at Gent for his error that cost us a goal. Yes, its frustrating, but some of these seasoned pros have hardly covered themselves in glory upto now with many a poor performance. Hopefully we add a few bodies to the midfield.
  16. Wages aside, did Groningen pay his transfer fee from us upfront, or instalments?
  17. you always take at least a point away from home. Some very tired legs, and a manager not trusting the kids. Poor equaliser to lose yet again. Gent needed to do better with his clearance, and Bevis unlucky again with the deflection . Even at the end we were given them chances by not doing the simply thing and keeping the ball. Another point clear of Livingston.
  18. useless. clear your fecking lines
