It's a new challenge. Football is a short career, and he may want to look back and say that he's tried his hand in different leagues, and outside his comfort zone. Nothing wrong with that.

It's Harrogate mate.  If that's out of his comfort zone then he has issues.

Fair enough personally don't think our recruitment in that position is remotely similar to theirs we sign keepers from League 1 + 2 with a fair whack of experience usually only exception recently was Randolph

The keeper United signed was A League Keeper of the Year.  The A League is not a great level but in general it's better than English League 1 and 2.

Only Hearts and Aberdeen, easily the 2nd and 3rd biggest clubs in the country have managed to progress past the prelim rounds in Europe in the last 20 years.

If we ended third last season we would have progressed beyond the Prelim Rounds of Europe.  Whoever comes third this year will likely do the same - but if not it's because a Scottish Championship side will.

The application of VAR in Scotland is often a shambles. It should be simple. It’s either a foul or not or offside or not. It should not take 5 mins for a so-called professional referee to check and confirm via multiple video angles, but it often does. The officials were a disgrace today and that ruined the game.

Application of VAR around Europe you mean.  Anyone who thinks our use of VAR is any worse than either the big 5 leagues or any of the others in Europe that have adopted it hasn't been paying attention to the roll out of VAR.

They are like Kilmarnock they get the vast majority of their points at home due to the horrible shitey plastic pitches they both play on, so it's a good home win on Saturday and another 3 points for us to help secure safety before the split.

What is every other clubs excuse then (except us and St Johnstone), but more specifically Hearts, St Mirren and Aberdeen who's home form to away form is vastly different, and much more so in contrast with Livingston...

Maybe they were. Or maybe he just didn't get any better offers, and thought it might be worth taking a punt on a bit of an adventure anyway.

You mean except the one at the club he was at?

Cadden joined the MLS to get to the English leagues cheaper - it didn't quite work out for him.  Oh dear, how sad.

If Griffiths is fit and playing, I'd have him up front with Dykes. He's one of those players that you always feel is going to score against you when he plays us and despite whatever your personal views on him are, he's the best natural finisher we have as a nation.

Dropping Fraser?  If not it could be a long night as  our midfield struggles enough with the numbers they have without taking one of them out

Not that it matters a jot but the BBC player ratings vote has Gallagher as our 3rd worst player! Then again it has Ryan Jack as our best, so go figure...

On the sum of his three appearances, compared to all other centre backs used since Gallagher is our best centre back, and it isn't even close.

McTominay was vastly improved - and some of that was because Gallagher was constantly talking to him.

Ok then enlighten us then why you think an attacking player standing half a yard offside right in front of the keeper who makes a deliberate attempt to play the ball when it comes in, should not be flagged offside.

Which rules are we not interpreting correctly?

He didn't make an attempt at the ball.  When the opposition players, remember players stick their hand up for everything nowadays had no qualms with the goal you know something is amiss if it isn't given.

but even with his boots on the wrong feet and a covid-mask over his eyes, hes still better than Seedorf, so it's a positive footballing move...I think its lucky for him though that there will be no fans in the ground for a while

    You sure about that.
