  1. ... ach, Im not even going to bother. As one person said, offended by everything, embarrassed by nothing. Our support may not be perfect at times, but Celtic have a very long road ahead indeed before they can pass judgement on other fans.
  2. They are mongos arent they. I saw an interview with Rothen basically saying he couldnt get away from Ibrox quick enough (due to C/L failure etc) "I only left Paris because I sensed something good at Rangers with the Champions League and a new championship. But now I am so disappointed". As said on here on numerous occasions, they need to get back to reporting objectively with fact, rather than ridiculous speculation, unwanted opinion etc.
  3. Much like some great players have a "dark" streak Maradona, Best etc (ironically not Pele), looking at it so do alot of great managers... Ferguson, Mourinho, Clough etc. Maybe Gannon just has this "attribute" to his personality. ...a fine line btween genius and insanity as they say. Anyway 100% behind the man. Decent results, nice passing game, developing youth. Cant complain really.
  4. Anyone got a spare ticket... trying to get one but its not happening just now.. Edit: Sorted now.
  5. That'll be why my email got dingied then Flow has just answered my question about picking tickets up at Ibrox though. Will phone tomorrow and sort a ticket out.
  6. Couple of guys at work have season tickets and they also friends who work @ Ibrox. I have been in the Copland v Rangers and it wasn't too bad. A few quizzical looks but was good natured enough. ... have also had club Europe hospitality and ended up sitting in Club deck... we scored and I went nuts. Got a fair few growls and a bit of fairly tame abuse that day "whit the f**k you doin in here" etc. Ended up drawing so I just started completely rubbing it in at full time whilst drinking more of their free beer. I would just say go for it... they do it to us... as long as you dont go over the score you should be ok.
  7. Which would then pretty much prove Gannons point about the standard of refereeing and the media. Maybe he is using the old Sir Alex Ferguson "seige mentality" tactics. TBH though I think he's just the kind of guy that expects answers etc when he has taken the time to enquire about something.

    Cup Draw

    Aberdeen

Couldn't agree more. That really pissed me off and it let Aberdeen back in the game when we were cruising at 1-0.
  10. He maybe attended the Brighton interview out of courtesy?? Seems that kind of guy.
  11. They said on the radio Craigan was carrying an injury. ... time will tell.
  12. Has apparently left game today and has refused to dspeak to the media Probably completely unrelated, but strange.

    Team Name

In a similar vein, I suppose any opposition we play could be deemed "Gannon fodder" (... searches for a JPEG of the computer game and opens photoshop...)
  14. Anyone know where you can get "motherwell, Mother well, go for good health and be a winner as well"? Should start playing that at games as well
  15. Only just found out score. Been on the bus back from my folks in Dumfries and my phone was dead so couldn't listen.
  16. Not read thread, but in reference to the O/P. I raised this very point after the Hibs/Inverness game. Retain the ball vs giving it away. Not rocket science Also, by passing it around, the opposition get drawn to the ball, move out of position etc.

    Motherwell V Hibs

Coke has lacked sharpness in the last few games, good player (unfortunately no pace) but may need arest. BTW there were people around me giving dogs abuse to Forbes for playing it sideways/backward... Thought that was bang out of order. There were no passes upfied on, he retained the ball rather than just hoofing it and giving the ball away anyway. The boy is 18/19 and hurling abuse at him after a handful of first team starts (in which he is our top scorer) seems to me slightly counter-productive.

    Motherwell V Hibs

The Zemamma incident will be in the match report as the ref picked up the "missle" . Looked a bottle top to me rather than a coin, shouldn't have been thrown though even if Zemamma was being a tit and should have been boked for inciting the crowd. Re the game, the winning streak had to come to an end at some point, its how we pick ourself up that matters. Re Conroy, I think we were a victim of Rangers' geetin last week. He went 180 and didnt book players who should have been etc. To be fair he couldn't really win. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards!!
  19. Pretty much it would seem. A stand full of Rangers fans would be a different proposition to them than a section of < 100 'well fans. The thing is though, you would expect the police could probably, at the very least, make recommendations to Rangers/SFA etc about the conduct of the fans. Edit: thats when you start getting into details about culpability. For example, the tickets were sold to the individuals by Motherwell. It happenned in our ground etc, etc.
  20. No, as the robbery has already taken place so they would call in specialist firearms officers. At the football the procedure would be to minimise/prevent crowd unrest.
  21. The Police would say that after a risk assessment, that option would not be viable in the interest of their and the public's safety.
