I'd be quite pleased to see us score twice against someone else. During this season, we've only scored twice against Starjnan (twice) and Ross County (three times). However, given how we only managed the one passback against Dundee last week I fear even fewer this Saturday. Still, it's a funny old game.

Straker reminds me of Holm Kraska. Pretty sure we signed him on the basis of someone having watched a video. I can only think Straker's video was edited somewhat extensively. I'm sure he's a really nice person but just not good enough at this level, nowhere near it.

Really could be doing with others chipping in with goals. We've scored just 19 in all games (25 matches in total) and four of them came in Europe, and had just 6 different scorers this season. Surely we can get some communication going along the back and if we do then we'll avoid adding to the 45 conceded already. As for the result, think we'll sneak it against an equally-poor opposition.

A lack of consistency though means they must get better to avoid being isolated. Ahead of their trip to eighth-placed but toiling Dundee on Sunday, County are one point below managerless St Mirren and seven behind Motherwell, so a second win of the season against Dundee would give everyone at the club a lift ahead of their match next weekend against Partick Thistle. Dundee have now gone seven games without a victory and need to sharp reaction following their stunning 6-2 New Year's Day battering by Dundee United.

Wasn't at the game and feel for those who were. I have seen the "highlights" and it is immediately obvious that when we lose possession (which is all too easily done and way too often) there is a clear lack of determination to win it back. If this was fantasy football you'd be using your wildcard right now and selecting an almost completely new side.

Todays stats. Shots Hamilton 20 (TWENTY) Motherwell 3. On target Hamilton 8 Motherwell 0. Possession 58-42. Pretty sure we've only been the better team possession-wise in just two games all season.
