  1. I remember Tommy McLean referring to Alex Jones as being "static". Boyd makes Jones look like a world-beater in terms of mobility.
  2. Really, really useful and appreciated. Are other years available elsewhere?

40+ minutes to go and already several were leaving. Real loyalty...............
  4. Hilarious chat from the Commentator. Someone really needs to sit with him for a while.
  5. I think know we will sneak it. I'm betting Goodwin gets sent off for one too many attempts at halving Skippy.
  6. I'd be quite pleased to see us score twice against someone else. During this season, we've only scored twice against Starjnan (twice) and Ross County (three times). However, given how we only managed the one passback against Dundee last week I fear even fewer this Saturday. Still, it's a funny old game.
  7. Straker reminds me of Holm Kraska. Pretty sure we signed him on the basis of someone having watched a video. I can only think Straker's video was edited somewhat extensively. I'm sure he's a really nice person but just not good enough at this level, nowhere near it.
  8. Really could be doing with others chipping in with goals. We've scored just 19 in all games (25 matches in total) and four of them came in Europe, and had just 6 different scorers this season. Surely we can get some communication going along the back and if we do then we'll avoid adding to the 45 conceded already. As for the result, think we'll sneak it against an equally-poor opposition.
  9. Apparently we missed out on this one..... Ross County start latest rebuild by snapping up striker Written byPaul Chalk Ross County boss Jim McIntyre has signed striker Craig Curran on a short-term deal.ROSS County manager Jim McIntyre has, as promised, wasted no time in bolstering his squad with the signing of English striker Craig Curran. The Scottish Premiership's basement side, who lost the New Year derby at home to Inverness CT 3-1, need to find form quickly to get in front of rivals St Mirren and Motherwell. Curran recently left Conference Premier side Nuneaton and has been on trial in Dingwall. The former Tranmere, Carlisle and Rochdale forward's work-rate is one of the main reasons McIntyre has handed him a short-term contract. Full-back Jamie Reckord and young gun Tony Dingwall signed new deals over the festive period, with midfielder Martin Woods and defender Paul Quinn expected to follow suit. The Staggies boss is demanding a better effort and level of performance from his side and vowed on Thursday to bring in more quality, with Curran being the first through the Victoria Park doors. This looks certain to be the third successive transfer shake-up at Ross County after previous boss Derek Adams brought in a number of players in the summer then McIntyre added Quinn, Reckord, Woods, Lewis Toshney and Terry Dunfield. A lack of consistency though means they must get better to avoid being isolated. Ahead of their trip to eighth-placed but toiling Dundee on Sunday, County are one point below managerless St Mirren and seven behind Motherwell, so a second win of the season against Dundee would give everyone at the club a lift ahead of their match next weekend against Partick Thistle. Dundee have now gone seven games without a victory and need to sharp reaction following their stunning 6-2 New Year's Day battering by Dundee United.
  10. Wasn't at the game and feel for those who were. I have seen the "highlights" and it is immediately obvious that when we lose possession (which is all too easily done and way too often) there is a clear lack of determination to win it back. If this was fantasy football you'd be using your wildcard right now and selecting an almost completely new side.
  11. Todays stats. Shots Hamilton 20 (TWENTY) Motherwell 3. On target Hamilton 8 Motherwell 0. Possession 58-42. Pretty sure we've only been the better team possession-wise in just two games all season.
  12. Hope the manager has a few lined up to come in right away after that humiliation today.
  13. First signing target? Richie Towell Herald reported on Twitter we're interested.
  14. I think only once this season we've dominated possession in a game. Same yesterday as County held the ball better.
  15. No point in announcing anything today. The Media will be too busy racing towards Ibrox right now.........
  16. Gannon They might want to update the photo of him, pretty sure that's taken at Aidrie prior to a European game.....
  17. Bogarde once famously said "This world is about money, so when you are offered those millions you take them. Few people will ever earn so many. I am one of the few fortunates who do. I may be one of the worst buys in the history of the Premiership but I don't care"
  18. Bogarde Winston Bogarde, ex of Chelsea and Ajax, has apparently applied.
  19. 6th April 2011 last time we scored. Chris Humphrey 41 mins. New 5 and a half games. Time to end that!
  20. By the time thus game is played we could be under new ownership and a new man at the helm. Result on my book therefore anything but foregone conclusion.
  21. HAve to say that's a brilliant email. Sad he's gone but he admitted time was right crucial appointment now and I wonder if it'll be delayed with potential sale on the cards.
  22. Good additions indeed. On the other side of things, Hollis to Hearts I hear.
