For me, the most impressive aspect was our team work ethic. When Bowman scored the 3rd, he immediately was chasing down Thistle defenders from kick off, and the whole team continued to press right until the final whistle. Great to see the whole team celebrating at every goal also. Very, very impressed even though in the first half it was a bit meh at times, made up for it in the 2nd. I sit behind the goal in the Cooper and it was like the Alamo at times. Brilliant team performance, Campbell is rapidly becoming undroppable, reminds me of a young Stuart McCall in his playing prime.

Sid on the bench, would probably come on for Bowman if he runs out of gas. Frear, Tanner and Grimshaw good options to change it up if needed. Weird this strength in depth thing...

Good 2nd half display after a meh first. Possible a wee bit rusty after break, a few errors and misplaced passes. Bigi made a huge difference when he came on, setting up,Bowman for a great finish, hugely impressed with Campbell, Kipre who was imperious as always, and Carson made a couple of vital saves in first half. Good strength in depth on the bench also, thought Grimshaw looked great when he came on, good to have options. Chuffed.

I've loathed Hearts since the fabled Alex Macdonald era. Bunch of cynical, hacking, dirty f***kers. Apart from 1991, my finest days as a Well fan was November 1993 when we beat them at Tynecastle, Rab McKinnon lashing a beauty behind Henry Smith. The 6-1 night a Fir Park was also memorable. They maintain the physical, cynical ethos to this day. Hope we do them on Saturday, but our recent record against them ain't great.
