  1. ...but their left back is pish. If they double up on Cadds, that creates gaps for the creative wizardry of,Lucas to shine. I'm a glass half-full kinda guy...
  2. Pearo is a free agent, so no need to rush it before midnight. And Chris McLauchlin of BBC just tweeted Ciftci is deffo on....depends who's got best Sellic contacts between him and Scott Mullen I guess...
  3. Probably like a 4 3.5 2.5, with Cadds shuttling on wide right, I'd guess, dropping to 4-5-1 when the Staggies have the ball. I really should stop, reading Jonathan Wilson books....
  4. Yup, Van Der Weg starts for Ross County. He's utter, utter p***h at left back, makes Joe Chalmers look, like Roberto Carlos. Cadds will have a field day...
  5. Lucas and McHugh start. Could be very, very good in middle. Lucas ran the show in the 4-1 game
  6. Flow just quoted on BBC, Pearson will be re-signing. 85% Skippy will stay but hinges on Ciftci clearly...
  7. https://twitter.com/scotsunsport/status/826491178141044736
  8. We're in for Ciftci according to Twitter...
  9. Central midfield, still think with Lucas (particularly in light of superb display vs Ross County) and McHugh still to come back from injury we've got options. I don't think Lasley and Clay together are the best of those, and Cadden is clearly better as a driving wide midfielder a la early Pearo as he showed yesterday. Looked a load more comfy when he did get out wide, and got bogged down somewhat in the middle at times.
  10. He's a narky wee shite, but he's *our* narky wee shite. Best game he's had for us for sometime today I thought.
  11. Skippy just ahead of Tait. Would hate to be an oppo player against him when he's in that form, and, for once, he should have been greedier with that ball he squared to Cadds in 2nd half.
  12. Lucas for me, hardly put a foot wrong, and nice to see some balance in central midefield rather than Keef trying to do everything. Kudos to at least 4-5 others, Cadds, Skippy, Lionel, Taiters, Heneghan...good sign when there's so many contenders for MOM
  13. Yup, that's the boy. Been discussed at length by the podcast boys around the initial Baraclough signing madness era
  14. The Blyth Bowman thing is reminiscent of the other English guy we signed in case we couldn't get Marvin (forgot his name - left winger?) , we ended up getting him off the payroll on the QT literally weeks after we did get Marvin. Bowman possibly is the clubs preferred option and Blyth was signed in case we didn't get him
  15. Both. Thinking I guess is that Thomas and Ainsworth are first choice wingers, Belic could be attacking mid we've missed since Pearo, Moult, Skippy and Blyth compete for striking (or mid in Skippys case) slots.
  16. The spoof account has an underscore at the end, the real Sky one doesn't. Chill.
  17. No McGennis in Killie line up, Clay starts for us with Cadden and McHugh.
  18. 4-3-3 when we're attacking, 4-5-1 when they are in possession I'd guess.
  19. According to MacGhee, Laing is a midfielder no?
  20. East Kilbride is en route from Thortonhall to Fir Park so plausible... *yet again clutching at straws*
  21. Skippy away update : https://twitter.com/scotsunsport/status/748177459145773057
  22. We've got Craig Moore back who's been freely scoring for Ayr United, plus in Blyth, what looks like a decent big guy up top - first since Sutton departed. Would be disappointed to see Skippy depart, but we've got decent options.
  23. Law just resigned with Bradford
  24. Cadden for me has always looked like a young Pearo in attributes, in terms of drive, energy and attacking mindset, would like to see him getting a go in the central attacking berth.
