  1. think if mcall was in charge for the play-offs we would be down, he set us out very positively in both legs and not many mangers would have done it that way so credit to him he got the play offs spot on tactically an his signings have been very good and got us through this difficult spell, hopefully can build on it an push on next season under him
  2. never had any doubt about it! rangers are pish and have nothing at all, 500 quid made from the play offs for a wee bonus too! brilliant !!
  3. fucking brilliant what a day!!! better feeling than finishing second last season somehow! 6-1!!!!!!!!!! superb performance over the two games, very proud of the boys can't wait for next season!
  4. i think we are going to go there and pump them COYW
  5. I'm optimistic about our chances for staying up, but never fancied us today. I'm surprised how many people are shocked we lost today; we have been awful away from home almost every single game and were playing a good thistle side, think we have 10 points all season from away games, point at Celtic, beat st Mirren, county an killie scoring only 14 goals. Fact is we have knew for some time we are in big trouble this season but a few weeks ago we were BOTTOM, now we are 10 points clear, the improvement is there but so are the flaws that got us in this mess in the first place, a play off against a first division side won't be a forgone conclusion, it'll be eleven vs eleven and from what I've seen in recent weeks we clearly have the ability to win and stay up just need today's performance put behind us, i mean 1 loss in 4 aint bad , we win the next 3 then lose 1 then we will be due wins again by the time the play off come
  6. not a great day at the office, just need to move on from it and look to take as much points as we can in the next 5 and hopefully avoid the playoff or at least build up some form going into it as the teams we can face are by no means guaranteed promotion, don't think we will go down
  7. absolutely massive odds for us to go home with all 3 points, 14/1 on betfred
  8. both in this crap quality tho
  9. sutton, erwin pearson, carswell, grant, dom thomas hammell, laing, obrian, kerr long i'd line up like that if possible having an experienced head in every area of the field but let the younger players have a chance but knowing our manager first name on the team sheet will probably be stracker
  10. think we will win the day, but also think county will
  11. 20-year-old winger Nathan Thomas from Plymouth confirmed
  12. Twardzik Reid,Ramsden,McManus,Hammell Ainsworth,Carswell,Vigurs,Law,Lasley Sutton 4-0 law, sutton, mcmanus x2
  13. The portgual trip was a bonus/reward for second place I'm sure mccall said in one of his interviews, cost of the trip would be nothing compared to the money made from finishing second apposed to say 5th or lower which was probably our target at the start of the season
  14. doesn't change the fact they had much higher wage bills, crowds and better players on paper mccall has consistently got the best out of a very small squad of players who wouldn't get a game in most teams in the Scottish top flight we have been pish aye, but with a squad so thin it's not exactly a shock we didn't get anywhere in them, in the league you have a bad game due to missing a few players or them just no turning up that day or a spot of bad luck and it's no the end of the world you can just pick yourselves up in the next game, in the cup one slip up and you're out!
