  1. This guy mate http://www.football.co.uk/motherwell/ganno...gs_288010.shtml not seen him in action yet but he sounds like he might do a good job forus.
  2. Bottom line is that he is now a dad and his priority must be to do the very best he can for his family. Would any of us do any differently? Club comes a poor second to family in my book. Good luck to him and I hops his voice breaks soon.
  3. Labi - how do the Flamaturi fans intend coming over to the game, Airplane, bus, or break into the back of a truck in Calais as usual.

If you are that close to it Steve maybe you should start ignoring some posts. It is a football fans forum after all, what exactly do you expect to read? consistently well balanced posts from people that know all the facts around what they are posting about. Wrong place for that I'm afraid.
  5. Must admit that I like the style of play that Gannon is instilling in the team. No constant hoofs up the park from the keeper slow patient build up from the back. Passing and movement. The current guys seems to be taking this on board well and hopefully this can only improve with more new faces arriving who can complement and enhance this style of play.
  6. If only we were playing at FP
  7. "O Labi were unprecedented today, the only thing negative that stadium was not filled. I stroke it, but in areas Scotswoman these are nothing at all" Dirty bugger....
  8. Basically we need the money, and if we get a good offer for a player we sell. The same the world over. 2 new signing so far, but hopefully another 6 - 7 to come. our new manager seems to know what he is looking for and we have money to spend. European football is nice, but the really important stuff starts in a few weeks time.
  9. Cheers Labia, probably a good post, but I fell asleep half way through it.
  10. Just because a woman has a moustache tribal09 that doesn't make her beautiful.
  11. Don't then!! He's on the noise up and look how many are biting.
  12. I've got a pretty bad feeling about tomorrow and I feel that we will really toil against them tbh. The heat will be a real killer and until we actually see their team in action we can't comment or be confident at all. Just because we managed to get past a pub team doesn't mean anything this early in the season we are still a team in major flux at the moment and we still can't (as a previous poster has mentioned) defend a set piece to save ourselves. Has anyone forgotten how bad Fraser looks in goal as well. Hope I'm wrong but as the Albanian dude mentions I think that we will be doing well to get them back here only a couple of goals behind.
  13. Christ him, he's a lovely old guy. Name these twats and their feckin uncle they all need sorted out.
  14. Just out of curiosity, there is a picture of a guy with a wig on, on the Motherwell F.C. homepage, it wasn't him was it?
  15. McGhee who's that???? The name rings a bell but can't quite put my finger on it. He's old news, who actually gives feck what he did or didn't know, we have to sell players and selling them when they have a short time left on their contract for a decent amount of cash is good business for a club like ours in my book. When we didn't do that and were constantly getting shafted in the transfer market people weren't happy either.....lets move on eh!! Looking forward to see what our new manager, remember him, is planning to do. Lets concentrate on what is going to happen rather than if's and maybe's.
  16. I forgot half way through that game that it wasn't a pre-season friendly. Bloody awful but not entirely unexpected unfortunately.
  17. There are other teams with players apart from Motherwell you know!!
  18. I love all this stuff, constant rumours, media getting trawled for any snippet of info. People going off on total tangents as a result. New manager, players coming and going, in Europe, new pitch, new strip. Definitely makes it an interesting time to be a 'Well fan.
  19. Never liked the idea of retiring shirts, Quite like 1 - 11 on the park, not that it ever really happens anymore these days.
  20. Built a new state of the art 20,000 seat stadium with training facilities, properly designed, by Norman Foster or some other top notch architect, and dedicate it all to my Dad who passed away a few years ago. Give some serious dosh to a manager and win the league year after year and totally sicken the Old Firm.
  21. I kind of know what you mean, but don't like it all the same. It always feels better when you sack a manager rather when they decide to leave, a bit like a burd dumping you before you get the chance to do it to her. I'm not speaking from experience obviously.
  22. If he is away, then all the best to him (but not against us obviously) and my thanks for helping me have some of the best times I've ever had being a 'Well fan. Like it or not we are a stepping stone for players and Managers but I must admit I thought that he would have held out for something a lot better than Aberdeen. Won't miss the constant speculation though and his inexplicable formation changes for vital games. His alleged contacts in Europe and elsewhere re transfers. Aberdeen fans will now have the joy of that as they must realise that they are just another step to where he really want to get to, Premiership, Championship or Celtic and it will be a short time before he is off to one of those. But onwards and upwards, managers and players aren't Motherwell then are transients in the long history of this great football club. The fans are what makes this club and we will always be there. It is the nature of the sport that things always change it's what makes it interesting and something to talk about, and we why we love it. I'm more interested in seeing how the new pitch is doing anyway to be honest. C'mon the 'Well.
