Cadden. A bawhair better than the bog.
-
Ocht gonnae no get delayed...
Planned a day round it last time and same this year. It's not exactly mid-Amazon to be waterlogged!
-
I'm jealous of taxi drivers and all they have achieved...
Has anyone else joined the dots yet?
All of the dots on my currant cake.
-
Just over the road for me, so out for a few, over to the game and make a wee day of it. Hopeful of a 3-1 win. Need to come blasting out of the gates again.
-
Cadden was excellent but with 4 goals the Moult decision was academical in the end.
-
Had Moult 4-1 for 150 quid. Delighted we skelped them 4-2, but I hate that wee git Crawford just a wee bit more than I did this morning.
Excellent forward play in places, Moult outstanding (and credit to McGhee for not faffing about with other penalty takers), Bowman looked excellent in the air and full of running, Clay had a strong game, and Cadden was great yet again.
Concerned that we dropped as deep after our third goal, and the defensive side of our game definitely needs some solidity, and more so, general concentration.
Oh, and Imrie really is a total tit. Mouthing back to the crowd etc is fair game; unnecessarily leathering the ball in from close range is not.

Indeed.I would personally rather stick money into a fund that allows kids to go free then fork out for the well society.
But then again, I'd sooner buy a ten quid team photo than throw my money into the pit that the Well Society has become. At least I'd feel that there was some tangible reward for my money.
Edit - 2 different points. I'd gladly sponsor a kid to attend FP is pt 1.
Pt 2 is that I feel that fan ownership is unsus and unat tainable.
-
I must admit, I think we'll give this shower of shite a long overdue drubbing. 4-1 Motherwell, from behind, after that irritating wee twerp Crawford scores.
Bowman will open his account with a brace.
Really looking forward to this after an international break which held as much interest for me as a soggy sausage supper and an away game in the arse end of nowhere.
-
2-1 Motherwell. Goals from Moult and a new signing and we'll concede from a scrappy set piece.
-
Good transfer window so far.
-
The club has handled this unsatisfactory situation very well. For years fans have been berating it for letting players leave on the cheap and now that its holding out for a decent price, there are still dissenting voices or should I say keyboards. Tomorrow will be interesting and as others have written why bang in a transfer request now if there are no vultures hovering waiting to pounce? Johnson will have to be careful not to earn himself a bad reputation or to be more precise careful not to let his agent earn him a bad name.
Hear hear. Well said.

Is he your choice for the year? There's easier targets out there, but credit to you for picking someone who may prove you wrong.

Cadden, though McManus, Heneghan and Clay all had a case
-
I thought we were pretty fantastic in the first half in all honesty. Cadden was outstanding, and Lasley, Chalmers and Clay were all as good as I've seen them this season (and arguably in Chalmers' case, ever).
Much improved, though crashed a bit in the second half and McDonald must have been beyond pissed off getting left stranded as often.

He was an anus of an attempt at at a human being, but he was outstanding in our RB slot for a long time. Never a CM or a free kick taker, but a vital cog at RB in a truly brilliant Well team

I'll be heading along to this, but I just can't seem to garner any enthusiasm. We seem to have built a team of absolute clogging snails, Johnson and Ainsworth, who have their own issues, aside. I'm not criticising the new guys in particular, but we look turgid, unfit, slow and frankly lacking in invention.
I sincerely hope to be proved wrong tomorrow. Even just the odd fragment of good play to suggest that there's something there to look forward to.
-
I think we should be better. At the moment, we aren't. 3-1 Dundee, with a defensive lapse for one and Samson throwing one in.
-
-
So, to clarify, is Chalmers the new Josh Law or is it Clay?
I don't feel that enough of a boo boy consensus has been reached yet, and we're a full game into the league season.

I'll go 1 each, goal from somewhere odd. Tait or something.
-
Samson repeatedly palming it to opposition players was hideous. I'm full willing to admit my naivety re Samson prior to his signing, and thought people may be overtly negative, but lord that is a poor attribute for a keeper.
Not even close to the worst on the pitch but to class him as best is blinkered at the least. Still, prevented a flood of goals despite those he gifted. No answer
-
Don't fancy us tonight. Don't really mind either. I'd sooner get the three points on Sat. Here's hoping nevertheless!

Game means nowt. I'd love to beat them

We never really gave McHugh his chance did we?
Well, aye, but he was shit.
