Not sure what to make of this game today. Last year Robbo’s stuffy tactics worked to an extent at home against this mob. However not sure if we open up to much today they will punish us. Will be a fine line. Aslong as we stop forrest from cutting across the face of the goals and putting it away from 20yards. Seems to enjoy doing that to us.

That was just shite all round. Shite pitch, shite ref, shite game, shite performance. Only good thing was the nearly 1500 Well fans at the game. However I generally will think twice about going back to that stadium as the game was spoiled by such a pathetic surface.

No place on the bench for either Hastie or Main tonight. Infact Stevie May has actually got on the bench instead of Curtis..... oh dear.

It was actually guaranteed that we were getting Hearts. At home I’m surprised however it will be a good game. Hearts are a strong Cup side but so are we. Would have preferred a lower league side mind you.

Not fussed re Johnson however I do think he will score a barrow load in the Championship. I am more annoyed re losing McAlear. Potential to be a top player and we won’t get to see him in claret and amber. In saying that look at recent youngsters who potentially moved down south early, Hall, Leitch and even the lad mentioned recently Leighton. All of them now looking for clubs or playing in lower leagues (Leitch). Would they have been better served staying here and getting some more game time. Arguably yes. Feel like another wasted chance.

One of the worst things to come out of the saga is the amount of vermin who are all over posts/threads on social media about Turnbull. Its his 20th birthday today and anything online is hijacked by ‘see you soon Davey Bhoy’ or the likes. Imagine their outrage if say Arsenal fans where doing that to Tierney. They would be apoplectic

The annoying part of that is the whole ‘lottery ticket’ & ‘dream transfer’ part. As if Celtic is the be all and end all. The genuine premises is obviously correct but again blowing Celtics trumpet.

I take it you have never played football at any level.... You can’t go from 18 months injured to full training straight away. Get a grip man.

Lennon confirming in his interview tonight that Celtic still want him but the clubs are in discussions about the deal due to the injury. If they are trying to change the terms they should just be told straight off, get to fuck. If we bow down to them and accept a renegotiation then I would be bitterly disappointed. Get him back to the club, treatment carried and in rehab. That’s over a week he has been in limbo.

On a side note, with Celtics spat with WBA highlighting further Lennons seemingly poor treatment and management of a young player it’s again seeming to me a poor choice for the lad. A few Hibs fans I know don’t seem to think he was well liked amongst the younger players or has been known for developing them well either. Just hope that he kicks on and doesn’t stagnate under a shite coach & manager.

Flow confirmed on Twitter that it’s due to technical issues completing the medical. It’s also been the hold up of a new signing for us. Read somewhere that there is an issue at Ross Hall.

Flow stated on Twitter yesterday that we were hoping to get one signed today. However if I am honest it may not be the best day as I imagine there will be a fair backlash from the Turnbull stuff and the signing could get lost in a lot of shite.

I think with the summer we have had so far the club really need a signing to excite the fans. I’m hoping Gboly could be it. However if it’s more lower league English unknowns I think we will be a tough group to please this year.... more than usual. Going to be hard on our budget but if not we could be in for a long hard slog. Agree with Melvin that we need I think 4 more signings.
