  1. Have you watched him try to outrun jump or shoot ? He would struggle in the Championship Lots of effort , granted.
  2. Bowman knows himself he shouldn't be playing at this level, can't blame him for being shocked and celebrating when he scores, especially if you're the one who puts him out there.
  3. Tony Andreu looked not bad last time he was in the top league, I don't imagine Georgios Sarris would terrify him Delicious if he sent Hamilton down but not quite as delicious as it being us sending them down by not trying a leg. The extra cash would be handy for the club as well though and could even be the difference in getting a player in or not, so i think i'll just sit back relax and enjoy whatever pans out , extremely thankful that we aren't involved.
  4. Two things 1) Don't put ourselves up against it by getting someone sent off for gross stupidity 2) We are Motherwell , we are Motherwell , we are we are \o/
  5. Based on they havent beaten us this season , they got pumped by ICT at the weekend and he isnt a lily livered cheese eating surrender monkey , id imagine. Some of our support are a right shower of snivelling brats , we might end up in the play off , we might go down automatically but as it stands we have a good chance of reaching the safety of third bottom so rather than roll over we go for it. I'll be over there up for it like most of our support who have the stomach for the fight , youd be as well sitting in the hoose poking yerself with knitting needles
  6. Blame the little Green Brigade 'wannabe' wankers in the end section
  7. I get all of the above and dont disagree with any of it , I watch us But to say we are down already is the biggest load of drivel ive heard since Robinson said the game was already lost at 1nil after 30 mins yesterday , even if we lose on Saturday we'll still be well in the mix although i dont expect many folk on here to be saying that if it comes to pass
  8. I'll have a go at it , what they done against us last year , last time or last week has no bearing on the weekend. We arent very good but thankfully we are in a battle with 4 or 5 sides who are just as bad , if the players have the same attitude as him we're doomed right enough. I suspect if Robinson felt any the players shared his opinion though he would do the right thing and tell them to fuck off and go shopping with the wife instead.
  9. As far as i recall having paid home and away to watch the shite that led up to us finding ourselves in the play offs he didnt just roll up that morning ... but leaving that aside He'd do well to realise that we dont have the squad to set up defensively and that we ARE equipped to go on the front foot especially against the rest of the bottom 6 that we are about to face The close season and his ability to recruit is a worry for another day , we surely have enough firepower to see us finish 3rd bottom at least if he sets us up right ?
  10. Personally find it crazy that we sacked the only experienced member of the coaching staff that we had - only to put our precarious fate in the hands of the rest of the team who worked under him, maybe there was more to the McGhee sacking than meets the eye. For it to be 1-0 to the Motherwell we would need to have a shot on target which is more than we mustered last weekend. Hope Robbo sent a thank you card to Kris Boyd as had he not missed that penalty then he wouldnt have been near the interviews nevermind the job. Good luck Steve , fingers crossed for you.
  11. I think they're waiting on 30 wee dicks with a megaphone telling them what to do.
  12. Not a popular or widely held opinion but i agree with you , i think McGhee wouldve kept us up albeit with a few more losses between now and the end of the season Now with about 10 games to go we roll the dice and go for, in all likelyhood someone who's already there or someone with little knowledge of the league , our squad or the opposition - assisted by someone who's already there. Im more concerned about relegation now than i was on Monday morning , hopefully im wrong as usual

    Mcghee Out?

Maybe he was trying to win the fans over as loads on here were delighted when McFadden was appointed Probably be just as delighted when he's appointed as the next manager when Craigan knocks it back
  14. It should be the Iain Ferguson who played for us and Hearts going by the text but its the Ian Ferguson who played for Hearts and not us You should give them an email and offer to proof read if annoys ye as much
  15. "Keep politics out of football Unless its our politics "
  16. Thankfully O'Brien signed a 2 yr deal with Shrewsbury in the summer. He'll probably be available on a free in January though
  17. I think he'd been a manager at Ross County by then but i may be wrong
  18. You dont think anyone else wouldve tried had they been given the job ? I'll trust McGhee's judgement on it but to me it looks like unadulterated sentimentality
  19. This is only a stab in the dark mate but im guessing that if you have already spoken to the club and they cant confirm anything for you yet then the chances of anyone on here being in on the secret are quite slim.

    Pre Season?

If only we had a born leader back there , you know , the type of guy who coaches and guides those beside him through matches We'll be fine when the real stuff starts , still 4 very winnable cup games before the league starts and we will do well in them im sure , if we dont i'll start to get concerned
  21. Because i dont think Ripley is Dino Zoff ? Time will tell but this time last year Erwin was destined for Real Madrid , i'll follow Ripleys career with interest. What kind of fan interaction was it that impressed you with Ripley and how did it make him a more valuable player to us than other loanees ?
  22. Erwin and Ripley were over rated by our support. Erwin definitely had some raw talent that suggested he could go to a higher level , lots of improvement needed when he left here though. Ripley mightve been the best since Randolph but he shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath as him ,Mark McGhee couldve spent the season in goals and wouldve probably been the best since Randolph. Law probably a bit under rated as he was something of a whipping boy, as BWF says above he was effective going forward as assist stats show but thats not much use if youre playing in defence and causing a couple to go in at the back by sleeping Just about everyones opinion on Robinson on here is irrelevant , they are guessing as unless they watched training they'd have no idea how good or otherwise he is - he was animated trackside and very involved during games though. Sorry i dont do social media so cant advise on how good Ripley or the rest are at giving you a retweet like or follow to persuade you, if you are that gullible into believing that they are one of the boys and Boro/Motherwell/Oldham through and through although what the f*** that has to do with their ability as a player is beyond me anyway
