What’s Csaba Laszlo doing these days.

That is my main worry, Young is a great youth coach but when it comes to making game changing decisions he doesn’t have it.

Looks like the new man won’t be in the hot seat anytime soon. Even if he does arrive today, it’s still not enough time to make any real difference in the game against Celtic. With another heavy defeat on the horizon it’s important that this is all sorted before the Hamilton game.

That would be my choice, at least you would know what to expect and in my opinion our top six place would be all but secured.

True. One of the greats Brian Clough was not universally liked by all the players and directors but he got the job done.

Going by past results Gordon Young has done a good job with our youth development. We now need a manager who can take them on to the next level. Gannon briefly showed with his youthful team selections he would attempt to do just that. When it comes to players, I think Craig Brown probably prefers to go down the more experienced route.

I honestly don’t think we can even afford the 6 months compensation required to get him. It needs to be someone who is out of work I’m afraid.

I doubt they would take it under those circumstances. Jimmy certainly wants to be a full time manager, as for Tommy I believe he still fancies another shot at management.

I wonder why the update then? Despite it being a little slow at times it wasn’t that bad. Anyone know the official reason for the change?

Common sense at last. This is 2010 not 1910. Things should have moved on since then. Where we find the cash for a new stadium or a Fir Park upgrade is an even bigger problem.

In a word compensation. He would have been a shoe in for the job if he hadn’t signed a contract with Hibs. We have NO money to pay another team for our new manager.
