Don't want to fuck up anyone's evening any more than that game did, but I've been told we're signing Ian Vigurs in January......
Making an already slow midfield even slower, not to mention he is also shite, be very surprised if he signed up again.

Turnbull on the bench for Celtic today

Talking of Wigan I see the bold Sir Cedric Kipre bagged a goal in a 3-2 away win today. Is that his 1st since he scored his only goal for us ?
No I believe he also scored at QPR earlier this season as well when they lost 3-1 I seem to remember

Fancy us strongly for this, 3-0 well win for me

An interesting stat I heard on the radio last night from Stephen Craigan was that it took us until mid December last season to reach 16 points, so its a pretty remarkable turnaround from then to now, 3 of the next 4 games at Fir Park, in between an away tie to Ibrox so we should fancy our chances at picking up more points in there. First half we were superb but we really should have been out of sight at half time but its another win and clean sheet so we cant complain at that.

Las I reckon will be the next manager after Robinson, apparently that was hinted at by Robinson at one of the business breakfasts he appeared at about a month or so back.

According to the Sun newspaper, Darren O'Dea in talks over a coaching role at Celtic which will see him give up his playing duties at East Kilbride as well.

Conor Sammon drops down a few divisions to join Falkirk.
Finally finds his level in league 1

Yes I would providing they had the clubs best interests at heart, you always get people who scaremonger away from it looking at examples of others who have ruined clubs but theres also some good owners out there, Well Society has been great for stabilising the club and continues to make us thrive but if a money man came forward and could take us to the next level without going over the top then i'd be all for it.

Jack Leitch scored both goals as Peterhead won 2-0 at Queens Park to win the League 2 title.

I also think Burrows and the Board will have a figure in mind and no doubt that figure will be revised upwards when Turnbull continues to perform and develop as he has.
With that in mind, and taking into account monies to be received from Hastie and McKinstrey moving on, I hope there is currently no pressure to sell and those in charge have the determination and strength to resist any attempt in the summer to buy him on the cheap. Perhaps from a media loved club like Celtic who will have players to offload (Hendry, Ralston as examples) and who are most reluctant to include "add ons" when dealing with Scottish clubs. Turnbull has signed on for another two years so we must remember we are currently in a position of strength. However, if a Club does come in with a fantastic offer that includes the potential for a future windfall then of course we have to be realistic.
I understand the attraction of once and for all clearing our obligations to previous owners. But as we appear to be managing that issue well and reducing the debt at an acceptable rate, I don't believe the existence of that debt should encourage us to sell ourselves short with regards to Turnbull, particularly as that would also result in limited funds being available for reinvestment on the playing side.
And since we like to play the game of comparisons with earlier Scottish transfer deals....
Andrew Robertson. Age 20. Defender. 70 League appearances combined for Queens Park(34) and Dundee Utd(36). 5 goals in total. Well regarded and first full cap a few months before his transfer to Hull City. Nowhere near the profile or hype of David Turnbull. Fee £2.75m plus lucrative sell on clause.
I genuinely believe that if we are brave and stick to our guns, in 8 months to a year from now there is no reason we cannot at least match the deal secured by Utd. We must not miss this rare opportunity. I would rather hold on for now and resist the temptation to "Cash Out".
I did notice Burrows on twitter I think it was Saturday night having some debate with a guy who I think was a Celtic fan saying Turnbull will be playing in the EPL in the future and will definitely command a record fee, if hibs can get 3 million for John McGinn then that's the starting point for Turnbull who I believe is a better player as well.

If we go back to the 352 formation they can stick it , football has been great of late but I’m waiting till the transfer window closes before I decide on renewing my season ticket. I’d rather nail ma baws tae the floor than go along and watch hoofball again.
Getting to watch a quality player like David Turnbull is worth the season ticket money alone

Turnbull now the leagues 4th top scorer this season with 12 goals overtaking James Forrest and now only 2 behind Eduoard who Celtic spent 9 million on, I could see Turnbull overtaking him in these last 3 games. Quite remarkable return of goals for a 19 year old we put in the team in October and hasn't looked back.

What is Shea Gordon's position with the club?
Contract is up in the summer but not long back from a few months out injured for Partick, seems to starting regularly enough for them now.

Whats the script with Maurice Ross? Seems to have been appointed and not amother said about it. No interview with him then, no post match interviews. Radio silence. Any insight?
They seem to just use quotes with him now on the match report on the official website, I had wondered why we hadn't seen the youtube interviews like we did with Craigan.

Cadden also out of contract in the summer, will be interesting to see where he would fit into the 433 system

There is zero chance of McGhee and Ronnie McDonald working together.
It will be someone who will keep their mouth shut and their head down.
Looks likely to be Brian Rice the St Mirren assistant manager who will get the job there, likely as you say to keep their mouth shut and get on with the job,

Formerly of this parish, I see that BBC gossip has Gordon Young as favourite for the manager's job at Accies, with Mark McGhee also in the running.
The hilarity if they appoint McGhee who also has a ban to serve from the great meltdown at Aberdeen a couple years back, would almost certainly relegate them
-
Seen some st Mirren fans on P&B forum talking about a rumour of Sammon going to them, sincerely hope that's true as the guy is murder and will find his level with them in the championship.

Just heard now confirmed McManus is definitely leaving so no idea who will be running reserve team now
McManus was initially earmarked to replace Craigan, so we now have no reserve manager and no under 18s manager, something the club will need to sort out pretty quickly.

Calvin Miller next. Good player.
Did nothing for me when he faced us with Dundee, would say we have better options we can go after.

This is a huge window for us but the most important thing is who stays and who goes in this window. Obviously bowman and rose are gone so far but who else ?
Ross Maclean meant to be joining Falkirk permanently as well, obviously at a guess I'd imagine maybe the likes of Bigi, Newell and Shea Gordon may also leave the club.

There were several Motherwell Calendars in the Calendar club shop based in Buchanan Galleries when I was in yesterday.

About their only accomplishment to be fair, no doubt will be organising an open top bus parade to celebrate as well!

He is naturally a centre back that we have been trying to convert into a midfielder for the last few years
