  1. Ok, not a player.. Leanne Dempster is stepping down at Queens Park. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67901202 You know how we like to bring back ex-players are we now bringing back an ex-CEO?
  2. Even if we able to the ugly sisters would be wanting the lions share, so still wouldn't make the league anymore competitive.
  3. Oh great if SK is still in charge we'll have Obika and the Ox as Centre Backs
  4. Why is it when things aren't go well, we put 3 strikers in from the start. Alexander done, Hammell done it and now Kettlewell is at for the last couple of games. It doesn't work with the players we have, you need fucking wingers if you're going down that route, so they can help the midfield not be a bleeding hinderance. I have been happy for Kettlewell to carry on as we've been carrying a few injuries but we got most of those guys back now and still we don;t see any improvement. Its time to go....... and that may well be the first time I have said that about any manager on these boards.
  5. Thistle forum says he took a knock on his knee in training
  6. But. but.. but... what about Shankland?? Lol, I get your point though, I think it's fairly easy to see where that stopped though. If they can't play for one of the big sides in Glasgow (and I don't mean Partick) then they can't bet good enough for Scotland.
  7. A weird one this, why not do that before the window shut? Will we bring another forward in? I thought Shaw was brought in as an addition to our front line, not a replacement. Other players I would've happily seen leave ahead of Efford
  8. So do they fall under the "flaw" and "under performed" Stuart Kettlewell aims to transform flaws into success in Motherwell revamp
  9. win 5-4 on pens, not good enough, need to keep shipping players out. Anymore Indian clubs looking?
  10. Brian McLean the new manager.... Motherwell Colts?
  11. Possible big payday Curtis Main linked with Wrexham
  12. Stuart McKinstry set for release. I know he hasn't got a lot of game time since SK took charge, but I was wondering if he could play the Spittal Role in the team? Would it be worth looking to see if we could keep? Thoughts?
  13. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2023/03/01/richard-foster-named-head-of-coaching/ RICHARD FOSTER NAMED HEAD OF COACHING 18:37 Richard Foster has been appointed head of coaching. Joining the club and starting immediately, Foster will oversee coaches within our academy at all youth levels. Alongside this, he will be coaching our Under 16s team and will be involved at Under 18s level. With Stuart Kettlewell’s role of lead development coach vacant, since he became first-team manager, Foster will be coaching the Under 18s until a replacement has been appointed. Foster began his career at Aberdeen where went on to make over 200 appearances for the Dons. In his time, he turned out for Rangers, Ross County, St Johnstone, Bristol City and Partick Thistle while also being selected for Scotland duty in 2012. He was assistant manager with USL Championship side Detroit City for the 2022 season before returning to Scotland earlier this month. “This is a really exciting opportunity for me at the perfect time,” Foster said. “Motherwell is renowned for developing young players that go on to have sustained careers within the game and they have some great, young talent coming through with excellent people working here. “This all makes me feel very fortunate to be given this role and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
  14. That's what I heard but Ross has pulled out
  15. and a decent save in the 1st half. Probably more saves in 1 game than |Kelly has made in the last 4 or 5..
  16. You also forgot one of those saved us from relegation through the playoffs the last time as well.......
  17. The confusion arose though because there was no confirmation of a concussion sub being used, even BBC text only had it down as an injury when Hayes was subbed. So unless we had access to the game, there was no way to tell. Then you add the ability of our club to muck things up, anything is possible.
  18. Yea, just checked on that, looks to be correct. Phew!!
  19. BBC showing 6, Lamie does show as subbed due to an injury but doesn't say a head knock
  20. Please say you mistyped, only allowed 5, unless there's been a head knock
  21. Raith have come back from a goal down to lead Arbroath 2-1... think we'll struggle next week
  22. No faith in that lineup, I am hoping it's injuries that have dictated the defence line up and not the tombola machine. Would still have had McKinstry and Crankshaw starting though
