I hate some of the slatings Fitzpatrick gets. IMO without him in the team, Klimpl couldn't do his job and neither could O'Brien. As much as Klimpl plays the holding role, its Fitzy who sweeps up everything in the midfield. Not skillfull in the slightest, but then again, he doesn't make as many 'silly' mistakes as the likes of Clarkson and Hughes.

Sheridan was ok. He's certainly not an impact player and needs to play from the start to get going. I would still play Sutton until he's had time to gel with the team over a few more training sessions.

What do small teams do in football. Aye, get fringe players from bigger teams. Thats what we've done. Complain when he's played 10 games and got no goals. For now, try to be positive. If not, sad sad times.

Doesn't need to send you into raptures. You should be happy that we've added to the squad and be confident that he can do well for the club. Not criticising him before he's even trained with us.
