Slattery was at the conference today and when asked about the players being behind the manager he did a massive tell of rubbing his neck. The next question was again is their unity in the dressing room the neck rubbing was in evidence.
I'm no expert, but it looked very telling and wouldn't suprise me of the dressing room is fractured.

Today was Hammell-esque. Time's up Vampire.

The triple threat of Trevor Molloy, Paul Keegan and Danny Murphy (no, not that one) - Malpas classic..

Who is that in the Glasses and beard - I've been looking at it for ages trying to figure out who it is?
Toasty (not sure if he's still in the Polis, but that's what he ended up doing).

This whole thread is hilarious. 10/10. Would read again.
On this recommendation, I actually went to the kitchen and got a can and crisps to read this thread...it did not disappoint.
I'm all for a good atmosphere, but I'm no fan of the drum; it does my head in and pyros are for pricks.

Tommy Wright...is that not cockney rhyming slang?? Typical pish from The Snu. Ian Murray for me please. He downed us twice with Airdrie and Raith. The type of young manager we need.

It's also baffling that the board have backed this clown with 9 (nine) signings. It's clear he doesn't have the ability as a manager. Actually it's not baffling given they had the vision to appoint him as well. Get these chancers all to fuck.

The come back is not on...

Seriously, get Hammell and Kerr to fuck, total embarrassment to the club.

Well thats the last peice of the jigsaw puzzle in place.
You may not rate Hammy.
You may think the board are shite.
You may think that these players are still shite and we are doomed to relegation anyway.
But you can no longer say Hammy didnt know what the problems were or the board havent backed him in addressing them.
Now we need to see a reaction.
Lets do our bit.
Just this, nailed it.

The players and management team are sucking the life and soul out of the old place.
You forgot the soon to be departing Burrows and the shit show Board who fault it REALLY is for appointing an amateur shortly before the season started. Shame on these arseholes.

Aye, jog on pal

Usual pish from Lego heed. Now he's complaining about the penalty we should have had... desperate stuff.
I'd still live to play him at poker, his tells are a gift.
Interesting to see the new Japanese boy coming in, will he drop his beloved Spittal??

Eh?
Hiring the cheap option in Hammell and his speed dial recruitment strategy of ex players over the years spring to mind.

For me I don't think Hamnell is enough of a bastard. He's a good guy, but what we need is a good guy/bad guy combo to whip the guys into shape. Kerr isn't bad cop either, I mean someone to give you 'the fear' like an Archie Knox type. Players all respond in different ways with different touches, but do you really think Stevie or Brian bring that bastard character into the dressing room??
I think we will end up in the playoffs as there is no quality across 2-3 positions to lift you any higher. I blame Burrows ultimately for his 'speed dial' phone a friend recruitment policy over the years. Managers come and go, but we could do with a refresh across the whole page. Championship beckons on this form and Hammell is too much of a Mr Nice to turn it around. I pray he makes me look a dick and smashes it, but I doubt it. 2:0 to 2:2 against 10 men is amateur.

I shall say this if he hasn't signed a natural left back that can defend at Motherwell by the end of the transfer window then we are done for lol.
Genuinely this, both Carroll and McGinley are honking in different ways, plus injured. Either we give youth a chance or get someone signed with a left foot who can play left back. I wish Stevie luck, but it was the cheap option with no imagination in the candidate pool, almost like he was given the role and the others were a footnote. Something that's totally unlike the current board or Burrows to do...

I think the last person anyone should be having a go at is Kelly.
Are you for real? He could have kept it to himself, however he is in the paper as Alexander's mouthpiece basically saying the fans hounded him out. Kelly can STFU and concentrate on the game tomorrow. Dry you eyes Liam.

I said in the very beginning despite a 7th and 5th league placing our fans had an irrational dislike of Alexander and were just waiting to get him.
I said Motherwell fans should manage their expectations as we might well lose - they didn't and we did.
I said that Scottish teams at our level have a negligible gap of superiority over League of Ireland and none with start of season fitness - I was right.
I said none of our outfield players would be stand outs in the League of Ireland - Sligo were better in every area.
I said we'd probably lose last night - again correct.
Now instead of going into some demented Daily Mail reader style rant, Motherwell fans have to face reality.
We are a small self financed club, we have probably our worst ever squad because we cannot pay wages and we've sold all the family silver and there is nothing left.
Alexander has comfortably kept us up with a very weak squads twice. It would be utter folly and an incredible and dangerous risk to fire him now.
Bringing in an unproven manager, with this squad, could be a history altering decision for the club and not in a good way. Falkirk anyone? Dunfermline anyone?
We lost a Euro tie. Our Euro record is abysmal. 1 win 15. Big surprise. Alexander doesn't get any free pass. He'll be judged on his league results. Now stop this mewling red faced infant tantrum stuff and behave like thinking adults.
Back in the day when I was almost a lone voice trying to protect standards at our club I was derided, dismissed even threatened in private messages. Well you know what, that time has passed, sorry Motherwell fans but we are where we are and it's time to eat the gruel YOU ordered.
This ridiculous bi polar fan base standing ovations one match, utter rancour the next, sometimes even within matches (Livingston) is going to drag our club down into a very bad place.
Are you Burrows???

Fucking yassssssss. Well done GA and the entire team. It's been torture at times, however European football is a great acheivement!!

Why does the dick of a manager always seem to make every game about 'fine margins' or 'having an edge'? His whole philosophy is about us winning 51% to 49%. This has spread through the team where if we just do enough we can get a result (newsflash arsehole, it's not working). What's wrong with attacking, dominating and beating our opponents (like we did to the Jambos scum?). Honestly fuck him and Lucketti sky high.
Overall his defensive minded shit shows are a horror to watch..
