  1. Is there something wrong with the club’s website? No mention of the appointment there.
  2. Our ‘Goal’ The referee had a clear and unobstructed view and he didn’t see anything wrong with it. No Aberdeen player thought there was anything wrong with it. Three highly experienced ex-professional players didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. Some faceless clown in a TV studio in Glasgow took 4 minutes to examine it before calling the referee to the pitch side monitor. There were 3 big decisions last week at Tynecastle and the match referee and VAR got them all wrong. If all of these incidents don’t send a clear message to the SFA that their use of the VAR system is utterly wrong then nothing will.
  3. Name names. 😂
  4. For me it was close between Stephen O’Donnell and Lennon Miller but I thought Miller just shaded it.
  5. Why is Zdravkoski not playing? He does all the donkey work in the midfield and allows Spittal to play further forward. Spittal is ineffective the way we are playing.
  6. Our home league record against Aberdeen: P140 W49 D42 L49 Hopefully we’ll get to home win number 50 against them on Saturday. COYW.
  7. Undoubtedly a very hard working guy who did a hell of a lot for the club but I’m not a believer in bringing anyone back (managers or players etc.) as it doesn’t seem to work out second time round.
  8. Absolutely brilliant. Well done to everyone in C&A at Ibrox today. A superb result.
  9. Agreed and based on the outcome it seems that about 2/3 of Well Society members didn’t care enough to vote. However you would need to try and canvass them to try to ascertain their reasons for not voting before jumping to any conclusions.
  10. Our record in the league at Ibrox is dreadful. Only 9 wins (and 19 draws) in 137 visits. Better ‘Well sides than the current one haven’t been able to win there so it would be no disgrace to lose. As always, hoping otherwise. COYW.
  11. Excluding Rangers, the rest are all winnable because the others are not exactly firing on all cylinders at present.
  12. Well, well, well! What do us mere mortals know!
  13. Manager changing the set-up from Sunday will cost us this game. Devine a right-back moved to left-back to accommodate O’Donnell. Dropped Vale for Nicholson. Spittal forced to play wide on the left. No service to Bair.

That’s it right there in a nutshell.
  16. That’s not what he said. I’m afraid that’s typical of too many posters coming on here and putting their own spin on others’ remarks.
  17. Spiderpig, regrettably you are probably right.
  18. Personally I think this game could define our season - win and I think we’ll be safe but lose and ……. Having to play on that heap of shredded car tyres is no easy ask and we did put a hell of lot into yesterday’s game so I hope we don’t get a reaction to that. I’d really love to win because it would be a big shot in the arm prior to our sojourn to Castle Greyskull.
  19. Thanks santheman. That settles it for me - ban the b*stards. They already do it to each other so it must be okay.
  20. Lennon Miller is just 17 and looks as though he has a very good career in front of him. However, media hacks and pundits suggesting that the OF clubs should think about signing him is disgraceful. The same clowns always bemoan how uncompetitive the league is yet as soon as any decent players appear on the scene at other clubs they start touting them. I just hope him and his dad don’t get carried away only to have his career ruined like many others before him. If he keeps progressing he can set his sights much higher than Ibrox or Parkhead.
  21. Having read the responses concerning the damages to seating in the away stand yesterday I have concluded that the club should advise Celtic FC that in future they will not receive any tickets when they play at Fir Park. I recognise that this will cost the club revenue but I think that’s better than the “just suck it up they’re paying for the damages” argument. I’m sick and tired of seeing the rest of Scottish football kowtow to this lot and their fellow bigots from Ibrox.
  22. On an other topic, Where did all the added time today come from? There were 4 minutes added at the end of the first half and 7 minutes at the end of the 2nd half. That’s 11 extra minutes. I don’t recall any lengthy stops.
  23. Thanks for this santheman. That covers the reparations side of things. Now what about refusing to admit their fans/only admit a token few/put a premium on their tickets? I assume we can refuse them admission as both they and their bigot brothers have been doing that to each other recently.
  24. As far as the damages in the away stand are concerned it’s not the first time they’ve done this and the club should report it to the SPFL and the SFA and ensure Celtic FC are charged for all repair and replacement costs. Then in future the club should: 1) Refuse to admit Celtic fans to Fir Park; or 2) Reduce their allocation to a rump; or/and 3) Add a premium to the price of their tickets.
  25. In 2022 Celtic outplayed Madrid for 45 minutes but expended so much energy that by the hour mark they were knackered. Madrid ran them ragged and won 3-0. I think we suffered the same fate today. A very good 1st half but after an hour we were jagged and they dominated thereafter.
